Avalanche met my mom and fell in love with her. He loves lying next to her. I was worried because my mom is fragile and Avalanche is an 80 lbs of... well...Avalanche, but no need to worry he was gentle and appeared cognizant of her fragility. He needed no instruction or prompting from me. He’s such a good dog. I don’t deserve him. One year ago today my life forever changed. One year ago we brought river home! My dad came back from tractor supply joking that there was a dog he wanted. Which led to autumn and I begging to go look then begging to get one. We fell in love with River. I have never had a better dog who has been so loving and sweet. River literally is so special to me. Words cannot explain. She tolerates everything. From me putting hats on her, to throwing her in the lake, to waking her up in the middle of the night just to hug her!
