A remarkably powerful but restrained show from the recent RCA graduate for this year’s Brighton Photo Fringe, Watkins’ autobiographical photographs incorporate sculptural elements to draw attention to the listed building’s furnishings. Masculinity versus mourning, family history versus collective memory; they’re all present in The Unforgetting.
