Nonbinary (They/Them, She/Her -for those at work who're too lazy to use the first-) Bisexual (married)

22) How do you usually celebrate Pride month?

I guess I just wear my pride merch a little more openly, maybe make some silly-goofy jokes about small inconveniences at work being 'homophobic' ([drops something] "Ugh and during Pride Month, too 🙄")

22) How do you usually celebrate Pride month?

"Hmm, It's a bit difficult to not hold onto a little bit of Pride all year 'round, but I do try ensuring those who need an open ear have one."

"Is it considered celebrating when I have to roll my eyes almost everyday in June? D'you know how many of these dudes pull the 'You're being queerphobic' card when they're getting la chancla upside the head? For the last time, Ace, just cause you room with Deuce doesn't make me a bigot for whoopin' your ass."

"I guess I don't know? There's a lot of folks under the sea that start off life with a couple different sets of organs, and we sort of lean whichever way we feel like. It gets a bit complicated so we really don't have labels, at least nowhere near what the surface does."

"I love going to the events wherever I can get to one. The energy is always a lotta fun. How far do you think I can get if I start doing music gigs at Pride?"

💓 BEATING HEART - what gets their heart racing?

Vero isn't that hard to fluster tbh! Intimate gestures and romantic words take her by surprise, and she's terrible at hiding her reactions. More sweet flirting works better than shameless "i want something out of you" type of flirting, which gets her heart racing with anger on top of the flustering.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

Pre-Ryxabyss/Ignihyde chapter nothing in particular. That everything will be okay, to not worry as much about the future.

Post both chapters, she'd ask her younger self be softer on Idia. Then again, they both were kids going through traumatic situations. It's on their adult selves to fix how they acted.

TWST Chapter 6 spoilers

There is one taboo for the Guardia Family. To never bring back someone who's crossed into their Underworld. The place where ghost who can't depart yet gather.

There was only one time Vero not only thought, but committed herself to break that taboo, much like her elder sister had done and lost her title of heiress over. And that was when Vero went there as a child, searching for Ortho. But, he was nowhere there. Idia's guilt shackled both of them in place, unable to move. What Vero saw while looking for him traumatized her to an extent, but it also set in stone her principles. She would change the unfairness she had seen in the Underworld so all souls could rest in peace, and learn to let go onto a better plane properly. So one day when Ortho is freed and able to reach the place her family guards, he can enjoy a respite and depart this world with a smile.

That was where the rift formed between them. Idia called her coldblooded for telling, pleading him to move on from Ortho, and Vero felt he was much the same as the rest of the Olympus family, unwilling to listen to reason or see past themselves, looking down on her family.
