Had my hair cut into a bob 2 years ago (2016) and I’m just about 2 inches away from bra strap length now (2018) I’ll start wearing my natural hair out once I hit waist length. That’s where my forearm is currently resting on my back.

The one thing I know for absolute sure in the universe is no one knows what medium length hair actually is.
I shall now attempt to put in new braids. I hope to be finished by 7.
Thank goodness no one ever comes to my house for me so I won't be caught looking like nightmare fuel.
Oh I also have a nice dream about my hair. I dreamed that it stretched all the way to my bra strap and my goal was finally met.
Soon. Well soon after I get past all this damn heat damage.
3 years Natural and my hair is collar bone length
I feel like it should be longer. I know I shouldn't be comparing my hair length with everyone else but I can't help it. So today I decided to apply Eco Styler gel (Moroccan Argan oil) to define my curls. The ends are very well defined, roots, not so much. Then again they might take the entire day to dry before I see a difference. But my main problem with this style is the shrinkage. My hair shrinks more the 50% of my length. You think I'd be used to this by now but no. The first year I went natural I wore wigs, second year, braids. This year I decided to handle my own hair and I don't think I can really do it until my hair bra strap length with a flat-twist twist-out (my default). So I figured my hair grew much faster when I wore wigs and and braids so I'm considering going back. I'd really like to put in braids, but I really need to give my edges a break. Does anyone know how to grow them out btw. It's a struggle for me. Another con for putting braids in, the amount of hair I loose when I take it out. Maybe I'll go for a natural styled wig. I need a partial break with my hair.
Pre-Relax
In preparation for my relaxer I wash my hair exactly a week before the relaxer date. I wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo and condition with other moisturizing products. The days after my wash I put a protein based leave in my new growth and the rest of my hair. The leave in I use is Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream http://www.cantubeauty.com/mobile/products/detail.php?id=856017000126
Then on the day of Relaxing I base my scalp with Vaseline. When I do this my new growth still gets straight but it still contains a little texture
Relaxed hair August 1,2013
I just did a touch up on August 1, 2013. It seems like my hair grew from 1-2 inches. I am well on my way to bra strap length hair by January 2014. I will post a picture of it soon.
Wonderful Journey to Bra Strap length hair (BSL)
I have decided to take a "wonderful" hair journey to have bra strap length hair. I have always had my hair either shoulder length or shorter than that. It's time for a change !!! I am aiming to have Bra Strap hair by January 2014. I started my journey in early May 2013 by wearing a weave as a protective style. When I relax my hair again I will take a picture of the length that I gain during that time.
I miss my hair guiseee! But this summer is too live for me to be messing in my hair lol This protective style was the best thing to ever happen to my hair lol. All I know is when I take this out, I better be at bra strap length. That's all I know lol
