Pods aren't my thing || brakeitfixitduo
He was alone. He was always alone. It wasn't something that he really minded. Actually, he preferred it. Alone meant no attachments to anyone else. Nothing that was needed to protect other than his own life and his depleting rations. I need to find some shelter soon, or else I'll end up as zombie food. He thought to himself as he gazed up towards the sunset.
Maybe at another time, Hinata would have found the end of the day relaxing and beautiful. But now it only meant more gatherings of the zombies and more troubles from any nearby survivors who still didn't know what the fuck they were doing. He always found that even though it had been ten years since the initial outbreak, everyone he seemed to met still didn't accept this and thought it would be over sometime soon.
Idiots. He mused to himself. The lot of them. They don't seem to understand that everything is gone. Nothing will survive out here unless it knows how to...Wait...What is that sound?
He paused, ducking behind a crumbling building. There was what sounded like talking coming from in front of him. That's when he noticed it. Two of them. Walking calmly. Two at once? That's rare. They normally only gain together when there is a food source or some kind of noise... He thought for a moment about how to approach this. It was better to end it now than to bother with trying to get around. Since it was two, he couldn't use his knife. It would have to be the gun.
He slid it off his shoulder, checked the ammo before taking off the saftey and silently made his way through the darkness to get to the creatures. He ducked around, not listening to anything but the sounds that they were making.
It wasn't long before he darted out in front of them, barrel of the gun pointed directly between them to where it would be a death blow if he pulled the trigger.
They weren't zombies. They were...humans. Hunters by the looks of it. They could possibly belong to a Pod. That would mean bad new for him, so he quickly tensed back up, fingering the trigger.
"Alive." He stated, voice low and upset. He wanted to know why they were here. This was his territory for now. Until he couldn't stay here anymore that was.
