Play It Right || Nick & Peter || V9 W1 Tuesday Morning
Nick didn’t even try to hide his yawn and he stood, help up by his mop in the corridor. It was probably something to do with the fact that he’d had a super busy, late night, with a lot of heavy drinking involved... No, there had to be something else he could blame, that sounded terrible to an employer. Rubbing his long face, Nick assumed he was more likely to get fired for sleeping on the job than for taking a break to grab the darkest, hottest coffee he could find.
This led him to the break room and the coffee machine, where, once he’d flipped the switch and set it away, Nick was leaning on the counter, eyes closed. Even though he heard the footsteps approaching, Nick was the sort of tired that makes it very difficult to open your eyes again once you’ve given in and closed them.
“If your my boss, I swear I have a good explanation for this.” He said, still half-asleep on the counter.
