RHONY Season 14 Trailer Reaction!

If it’s one show I’ve been craving for, it’s RHONY. There’s something about New York that’s just mesmerizing and it has been too long.

I almost don’t care who’s in the cast, I just want to see New York again.

Who knew that one poor season of RHONY would put the show on indefinite hiatus, get the entire cast fired and reboot the entire show?

And who knew that it would be almost 2 years (22 months) between season 13 and season 14?!

Creating a new cast for RHONY hasn’t been an easy challenge for Bravo to tackle. Women has left the show likes rats from a sinking ship.

There have been rumours about Andy Cohen saying that they’ve made a huge mistake with RHONY. 

Is this reboot a mistake by Bravo?

RHONY wasn’t on my radar, and their presence at Bravocon didn’t really spark any excitement in me. It was as if this project was non-existing.

Suddenly Bravo dropped the trailer for season 14 and announced that RHONY will be back on July the 16th! 

Needless to say that I was unprepared for this news.

So, what can we expect from season 14?

Brynn Whitfield, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva and Ubah Hassan are the new housewives of New York.

Lizzy Savetsky was originally a part of the cast, but she quit the show in the middle of filming season 14, so I don’t know if that added to the delays.

Lizzy quit the show after an intense argument with Brynn that involved racial slurs. Yikes.

Watching this trailer, I notice that Brynn is very much present in everything, and everybody seems to be upset with her for whatever reasons.

She seems like a flirt and a little troublemaker, and I’m intrigued.

It seemed like the women were ganging up on Erin as well, and Jessel’s marriage is under a lot of scrutiny, mostly by Sai.

It’s difficult to know what to expect from a completely new show since we don’t know these women. But I will definitely give the new RHONY a chance.

Jen Shah Won’t Attend the Reunion!

After a tedious length of uncertainty about Jen Shah’s attendance to the reunion, it’s now concluded with her skipping the reunion, like a coward.

After Jen plead guilty to the charges against her, Bravo disinvited her to everything. 

She was not wanted at Bravocon, and she was not invited to the reunion.

To not have her at the reunion was a huge mistake in the eyes of a lot of fans, and it seemed like Bravo saw the errors in their ways and gave her an invitation.

But apparently Jen wanted special treatment and didn’t want to address her legal issues. 

As Bravo thought that would be impossible to ignore, Jen chose to drop the reunion.

On the day they were taping the reunion, Jen posted a statement on social media, where she claimed the following:

“I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing. Bravo found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this “storyline”. That expectation has no regard for me or my family’s wellbeing; so under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion.”

I’m sorry, but did Jen take her indictment seriously when she was posting things like #FreeJenShah or sell merchandise saying “Justice for Jen Shah”?

And to put storyline in quotation mark is an attempt to mock Bravo. Jen was the one who brought her innocence into a storyline, with her tagline saying:

“The only thing I’m guilty of, is being Shah-mazing!”

The only one making a mockery of this situation is Jen herself.

I don’t appreciate a show to be derailed with PR stunts and lies, and I think the fans and Bravo deserve a day of judgment with her.

Is it so difficult to sit there and repeat “I’m not allowed to talk about it”?

Say what you want about Erika Girardi’s personality, but she showed up to the reunion when her lawyers strongly advised her not to.

Jen wants to be liked, Erika doesn’t care.

Will We Ever Get a Season of RHONY?

A dumpster fire is the right description for the reboot of RHONY now. If Bravo wanted a fresh start free of toxicity, they’ve failed miserably.

Lizzy Savetsky, one of the most central housewives in the reboot of RHONY, left the show after a racial argument with Brynn Whitfield.

I say “one of the most central housewives” because she was tested for RHOD before she was cast for RHONY. 

This is a woman Bravo wanted on a show!

But this is not the first disaster for RHONY.

Earlier this year Bravo and Cocktails posted a rumour about the test filming being a disaster and that 3 housewives had quit!

I didn’t expect any news about the reboot of RHONY at Bravocon, but they shocked me by announcing the new cast of RHONY.

With the amount of disasters I’ve read about in the rumour mill, it was hard to believe we would ever see these women as housewives.

But I guess that Bravo wants us to believe that this is happening. Were you excited about the announcement of the cast of RHONY?

The women were Lizzy, Brynn, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons and Jessel Taank. But Lizzy has now quit the show.

I didn’t write about the announcement because I don’t believe in this project. I doubt Bravo themselves believes in this project.

Bravo should go through with the show but call it something else and remove it from RHONY altogether.

Bring RHONY Legacy back from Peacock! But that remains to be seen as they announced the cast at Bravocon as housewives.

And the struggle with this reboot makes me worry about the future of Real Housewives.

Will shows be cancelled when the OGs gets to a certain age instead of trying to establish new “producer pets”?

Because it doesn’t look like this franchise is going to survive a generational change.

Their attempt at more diversity is a failure.

Bringing in younger housewives has kind of flopped, with for instance Noella Bergener, Leah McSweeney or Crystal Kung Minkoff.

Is this the beginning of the end of Real Housewives?

Ultimate Girls Trip S03 Trailer Reaction!

Bravo decided to drop the trailer of RHUGT3 during Bravocon too, and while I only have the leaked videos of the trailer, I can see that it’s going to be another fun ride!

Honestly, the other women must be so pissed that this season was filmed in Thailand! Especially Vicki Gunvalson, who disliked the Berkshires.

I’m still confused about the group of women and what the theme of the trip is. Is it friends who has fallen out? What is the theme?!

Anyway, it’s clear to see that Candiace Dillard Bassett, Heather Gay, Marysol Patton and Leah McSweeney are dominating the trailer.

The villa concierge, Pepsi, didn’t seemed very fond of them, and while I would’ve felt awkward about the way he talked to them, the audience was laughing so hard!

Candiace confronted Porsha Williams about stealing another woman’s husband and that is exactly what I want to see! 

Thank you, Candiace!

But the women also confronted Heather about her black eye on RHOSLC!

She claims in the trailer that she doesn’t remember how she got the black eye, and at this moment I’m ready to believe that nobody touched her.

If it’s going to be played out the entire season like “who punched Heather” only to never get an answer, I’m already over it. 

I’m disengaging the bullshit.

But Heather also wanted to make Leah relapse on the trip! 

Heather obviously wants to have a good time on this trip. She was butt naked in front of cameras!

And she must be aware of the anarchy that is a drunk Leah McSweeney!

Leah appears to deliver some good moments in this trailer, and while I should wait until see it all unfolds, I feel a little sad that she’s no longer on RHONY.

“You guys just gave me my period, thank you, does anyone have a tampon?”

There’s hilarious back and forth between the women, but the women are also fighting!

Candiace is arguing with Porsha and Gizelle Bryant. Heather and Whitney Rose are arguing about what went down in season 3 of RHOSLC.

This is going to be juicy!

RHOM Season 5 Trailer Reaction!

At Bravocon they dropped the trailer for season 5 of RHOM, and it did not disappoint!

When the news about Lisa Hochstein’s divorce broke, I was afraid that they were going to do a bullshit maneuver á la the Kardashians.

But no, these women are mentioning it all and I’m loving every minute of this mess!

They’re living such dramatic lives it’s a mystery why the show was ever cancelled in the first place.

Season 4 was probably the greatest revamped show yet and it looks like season 5 might be even better! 

Especially as they focus on Lisa’s divorce!

Cursing at Lenny Hochstein over the phone before she closes the door and telling the women she lost her trainer to the mistress too?! 

This is soap-opera gold!

While I’m a little conflicted about finding such delight in Lisa’s heartbreaking moment, I’m too wrapped up in the drama to care.

Lea Black is also making an appearance, probably to the other women’s dismay, but most likely to give Lisa legal advice.

While season 4 felt like it was all about Alexia Echevarria, it seems like season 5 will be all about Lisa! 

And I’m here for every second of it!

But these are fiery women and they’re all clocking in during this trailer, even Julia Lemigova and Guerdy Abraira, who had a smooth ride most of season 4.

It seems like marital issue will come up in their storylines too, as Julia for instance was caught kissing a man and Martina Navratilova is not happy about it!

Alexia’s son is still an asshole and continues to give her stress and grief. So what else is new?

I will say that it has been difficult to find pictures from the trailer, and I’m guessing that it’s because Peacock hasn’t officially started promoting the show yet.

I had to use the amazing new cast photo for RHOM, which is actually a clever way of reusing the pictures from the former cast photo.

Season 5 will premiere on December 8th and I’ll be counting the days! I’m already counting the day until Christmas anyway, so…

Explosive Jersey Moment at Bravocon!

There’s no doubt that there’s bad blood on RHONJ now. 

At Bravocon there was supposed to be one panel for the show, and they had to have two separate panels!

At the Watch What Happens Live! Melissa Gorga was asked what would last the longest, Joe Gorga’s comedy career or Teresa Giudice’s marriage?

And Joe decided to answer his comedy career! 

At the same time, he was acting depressed and sad about missing Teresa’s wedding. Like, pick a lane, dude!

There was a huge blow up during the season finale of season 13 which led to the Gorgas skipping Teresa’s wedding.

Now, at the panel with Teresa, Luis Ruelas, Jennifer Aydin and Bill Aydin, someone asked what was going on with the Gorgas.

And Jennifer answered that the Gorgas was hanging on to the show for dear life with the biggest, giggliest smile. 

She loved to throw that little jab.

I think that’s one of the reasons that led to the altercation in the lobby between Jennifer and the Gorgas.

But I don’t think it’s clear that they already hate Jennifer!

When Jennifer walked past them in the lobby Melissa was yelling “Loser! Wannabe!” after her.

Jennifer’s assistant posted the entire thing on TikTok as a proof that the Gorgas were the ones taunting Jennifer and their assistant walked up on her.

According to Jennifer, their assistant told her that she was “low class and trash”.

Joe also yelled after her “Shut up you fucking dirty bitch!” 

She was there without her husband, and she claimed that she felt threatened in that moment. That’s why she threw a drink after them.

Jennifer’s assistant said that she’s tired of Jennifer always getting viewed as the villain and I agree.

The Gorgas are just so sore losers. Do they feel good about targeting a woman walking in a lobby without her husband there? It reeks of bully behaviour.

The video clearly proves that they provoked the situation and were trying to make her feel bad.

We still don’t have a trailer for season 13, but I’m ready for more Jersey drama!

Fake Feud with Erika and the Kemsleys?

At Watch What Happens Live! on Bravocon, Erika Girardi was asked who she thought was the next couple to breakup... 

... and she answered Dorit Kemsley and PK.

Now, it didn’t seem like the Kemsleys appreciated Erika’s comment. Dorit commented on Instagram:

“Our friends, those that truly know us”… Interesting. So, Erika isn’t your friend? 

I mean, I wish because I’m so sick and tired of the Fox Force Four!

But Dorit did defend Erika this season as Crystal Kung Minkoff and Garcelle Beauvais confronted Erika about the earrings she refused to return.

Dorit looked like an idiot while defending Erika and it didn’t seem like it was worth it either since Erika joke so freely about divorce months after the home invasion.

I guess we’re done with babying Dorit now. But messy PK reacted to Erika’s comment too, posting this:

PK can be shadier than the housewives in Beverly Hills sometimes! “Stop thinking!” That was a burn!

But the Kemsley has been on a war path this year with all the doubt about the home invasion, the never-ending feud with Lisa Vanderpump and now this.

There were rumors that Dorit was going to be demoted or fired from the show this season, and they might create issues on social media in an effort to stay relevant.

I can’t help but wonder if they’re using this situation to create an issue with Erika to secure a spot on the show next season…

Erika’s response to the Kemsley’s outrage was simply:

It’s not often I agree with Erika, but I wouldn’t have taken her comment on Watch What Happens Live! seriously.

I miss messy Dorit, however. The one who shaded Erika about not wearing any underwear and bought her some as a gag gift.

If they could go back to feud with Erika, they might get interesting again. 

PK making fun of Erika’s strange stories in season 11 were some of my favourite moments that season!

But maybe Erika’s comment was an invitation to a fake feud to create a storyline for season 13? 

Lord knows there’s very little reality in Beverly Hills.
