Called out her blank voice. She was surprised, really, she was. She dug into the pocket of her skirt, taking out a hello kitty band aid. She peeled it open, placing it over the small scratch she noticed on their arm.

Perhaps a surprise was in order. She’s spent far too much time in the human world, why not take advantage of it?
