New Build: New Name, Tires, and Gamepad Controls!
Getting ready for the Made in MA pre-PAX party tonight, if you’ll be there, come see Tinker under it’s new name: Junkernaut: Breaker’s Yard!
The latest build has a bunch of new stuff:
Tires that get created from the Tire Stacks, adding to the chaos
New Title screen with better instructions (and now you can “press any key to start” instead of clicking…)
Gamepad controls! Currently only the Xbox360 controller is supported, because that’s all I have around. It’s pretty damn cool to play Tinker as it was always intended: as a dual-stick shooter.

CLUSTER BOMB [collective] present BREAKER'S YARD: A video of performance process towards our 2013 project CONCRETE/ISL▲ND. www.theconcreteisland.tumblr.com Filmed and screened as part of their first performance of BREAKER'S YARD at ]performance o p e n [ at ]performance s p a c e [, London, December 2012. The video and performance is in development towards their performance at LUPA (Lock Up Performance Art) in February 2013. The performance began with the projection of the video onto a thin white plastic screen, behind which Robert Maitland a 35 year old west London architect crashes through into the studio of concrete floors and a shocked unsuspecting audience. A starry suit of lights illuminates his body as he climbs out of the broken window onto the roof of his car. Breaking open a wine bottle and spilling soil from the island, he slides down the windshield onto the bonnet before collapsing onto the abandoned car tyres strewn around the wreck. All the while, Ballard narrates in deadpan non-sequiturs a text that speeds back and forth between Maitland on his island and the others parts and people whom inhabit the island of the book. www.clusterbombcollective.com
