Leonie kept a meticulous calendar of all the birthday's in the Golden Deer. It was something she picked up in her village, making sure she tried to always get everyone something whenever she could, even if it was a small gift. Finding out it was Ignatz's birthday, she scoured the marketplace for something before settling on a nice paint set and a sturdy quiver for arrows. Nothing fancy, just practical.
Ignatz hadn’t expected his classmates to remember his birthday let alone get him something. Sure he knew that Raphael would remember but that was different. When Leonie approached him after class with a present he was shocked but gratefully accepted it.
“Thank you Leonie, but you didn’t need to get me anything,” he smiled, examining the paints in his hands. “A happy birthday would be enough, especially from you,”
