Maverick Thompson's bio , for the RP breaking point
Slender, long - limbed and delicate, Maverick stands at precisely five - foot - five. Her skin is a hue of creamy porcelain. Her head is long and oval - shaped, her jawline well - defined yet still feminine. Her eyes are shaped oval - like as well, the inside corners of her eyes ever so slightly down turned. Irises are a forest hazel - green, leaning more towards muddy than green. Her eyebrows, naturally crested, are ever so slightly darker than her hair, more of a brunette color than the natural blazing red - ginger locks atop her head, which, while mostly straight, tumble down in bright waterfalls down her head, which stop short perhaps three inches or so past her shoulders. It makes her an easy beacon to find in even the most densely crowded of places. Her button nose is slightly upturned at the tip, the bridge of her nose is stretched long and curve as perfectly as if angels themselves had sculpted it. Her mouth is long and then, two gentle slopes adorning her top lip and her bottom lip crafted naturally in a smooth, soft curve. Both her lips are hued the natural color of peony. Her smile has the tendency to make her look slightly carnivorous, as her canine incisors are ever so slightly longer and sharper than usual, giving if the slight feeling that she always up to something mischievous. Her body is of mesomorph type, with ridiculously average sized hips and chest. Her metabolism allows her to stay a healthy weight, even despite her sometimes horrendous eating habits. She oftentimes is bound to wear whatever makes her comfortable, which often consists of oversized tees, hoodies, jeans, croptops, or volleyball shorts.
mav·er·ick
/ˈmav(ə)rik/
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
Unorthodox. Independent minded. If one were to ask the girl herself, she'd probably deny it, but these are only two of the words that characterize her. Maverick is definitely someone to wear her heart on her sleeve. How she may feel at any given time is never hard to pinpoint, as Maverick is both outspoken and outgoing, as many theatre kids, especially ones involved in the musical aspect of the subject are. Confidence is also something easy to see in her somewhat larger - than - life personality, as she flaunts it easily and freely. To call her abundance of confidence narcissism would not be correct, as it was difficult for her to scrape together enough self - worth to like not only her appearance but her personality as well, as in her high school "theater kids" were more than likely to be looked down on. As with every pro comes a con, Maverick can sometimes have the tendency to be extremely judgemental, without always meaning to. A quick up - and - down glance at someone's figure and she scrutinizes said person within seconds, already forming opinions without basis. Of course, it's something all people do - one claiming they have never judged is either a fool or a celestial being of sorts - but Maverick has the unfortunate tendency to be set on her opinions of someone as soon as she forms them. Sometimes, this has served her well, as people she might've had bad feelings about might've turned out to be just as horrible as she initially took them to be - or they could be quite the opposite, as in these instances her feelings have betrayed her.
In addition to being rather outgoing, Maverick is not one to lie to spare feelings, which has costed her many potential friendships. However, blunt is not always equal to being rude or mean, at least in Mav's opinion, it's just that some people would live in delusional fantasies rather than take things as they are.
Of course, one could argue that Maverick lives her own type of delusional fantasies, being so enthralled by musicals and plays and any and every form of entertainment between. Though she may not look like it on the outside, Mav is hopelessly romantic, and though she knows it to be highly childish, she dreams of some her ideal man, or woman, whisking her off to one of those delusional fantasies. Wishful thinking, to say the least, considering Mav's current dedication to the theatre, even if that were possible Maverick is not completely interested in a relationship as of late. That, and her mother who has recently taken ill. Her father, as good as he is, lacks the capability to completely take care of her in every way that she needs, so Mav has taken to visiting and calling whenever possible.
However, anything can change, that's one thing Maverick is sure of. With one single word, she knows that something, or someone
can change her world forever.
