beach days were one of her favorite days, even though they sparingly get a chance to take a break, buttercup was enjoying this time. especially since maya was here with them, too... which, the green eyed girl had been studying the blonde as she collects shells, appreciating the view of her girlfriends wiggling rear as she bends to gather them up. deciding this would be as good a time as any to strike, buttercup silently gets up and hides so that maya couldn’t see her coming. thankfully she moved when she did, because no more than a minute after she’d found it, the blonde was standing up and looking around, more than likely for her. when maya’s head is turned the opposite way, the powered girl flies over and scoops her up and over her shoulder, effortlessly. ❛ calm down, babe. it’s just me, ❜ she teases with a bright but raspy tone. chuckling when the other shouts, she defiantly shakes her head, ❛ uh, uh... ❜ instead of taking her towards their towels, situated just beside her sisters, the green eyed girl instead heads straight into the water. ❛ you’ve collected enough shells and i’ve spent enough time tanning, it’s time for some waves! ❜ as soon as she was waist deep in, she slowly lowers her girlfriend into the water, her hands falling to the other waist. ❛ see, now isn’t this better? ❜ she asks, a smirk finding its way onto her features as she looks at the blue eyed girl. leaning in, she places a kiss on the corner of the other’s lips.

death had a way of bonding people, bringing them together despite your past, despite their standing in the community, despite everything else. he wasn’t getting very far on his own, he understands that now that he and isaac had teamed up in a quest to find the answers that lay behind their parents death. diego didn’t like this... didn’t like being exposed like this, out in the open... he could tell eyes were on them, but it seems like his partner was a little quicker on his feet, when he feels those hands pull him against him. it’s not because he didn’t isaac attractive, that has him so apprehensive about getting close, it’s actually the very reason why he’s hesitant. ❛ hey! easy with the goods, ❜ he grumbles, loud enough for only the other to hear.

eyes widen when he feels hands on his face, but before he could say anything to protest what he’s sure his partner was thinking, he’s being dragged into a kiss. the heat and harsh nature of it, is what has him melting into it, getting a little lost, his senses dulling momentarily until all he could think, feel and taste, was isaac. and all at once, those lips are gone and he’s groaning, barely stifling a whine. but, that’s more so that he remembers they’re in the middle of a case than the thought that this was the last time they’d kiss. he was going to make damn sure that they will... clearing his own throat, ❛ u-u-uh, yeah... n-need some w-water, ❜ he stutters out, cursing himself for revealing how affected he’d been by that kiss.

there was a frat party on campus and she’d managed to convince her roommate to come along with her and her sister’s. buttercup had braided down her hair, leaving the ends in two curly poofs. making sure that they both had drinks, buttercup was having fun talking with some of the people she’d made friends with in her classes. cheering when she hears someone say it’s time for the games to begin, buttercup finds herself on the opposite side of the circle from maya. she didn’t worry, since the blonde ended up just besides bubbles.

it was getting pretty boring, since most people who’d been paired off, hadn’t put on a show. honestly, they were all amateurs... but then, it was her turn and damn did she feel bad for the poor sucker who was going to be on the other end of that bottle. as it slows, green eyes glow slightly when she notices that, of all the people it could have landed on, it was her roommate, maya.

getting to her feet, buttercup offers the small blonde a smile when she feels hands on her face. without hesitation, the tanned skinned girl was pressing deeper, especially when there’s a soft moan that escapes her friends mouth, giving her that much more leverage to make the kiss a little more aggressive. pulling away, she licks her lips and winks at the blonde before taking her seat again. for the rest of the night, her eyes kept circling back to her roommate. as the night wore down, she could tell that it was time to call it quits and head back to their dorm for the night.

glancing up from journal he’d been scribbling in when he hears her make that comment, making him pause and furrow his brow. shifting, the god gets to his feet and comes over to maya. ❛ -- am i missing something? ❜ briggs asks, while ducking his head to try and catch her eye. it’d been a while since they’d finally come to their senses and decided to quit acting like children and admit their feelings. mostly, because they have children... looking at her in concern, he rubs his hands up and down her arms. ❛ what’s going on? ❜

it just came out...

before he could think about it, before he could stop himself, they were spilling out and he was looking at isaac when the other man looks at him in surprise. he’d never been good with emotions, let alone expressing them, but with him -- he was finding it a little easier to let that side of himself out. only... the longer he remains silent, the more he feels he’d said the wrong thing and he tries to turn away, hide his face, but isaac wasn’t letting him.

brown eyes dart, trying to understand why isaac was stopping him and then he’s hearing the certainty in the other’s words and it causes him to press his lips together. nodding, ❛ i-i-i-it’s oka-ay, ❜ he stutters out, wetting his lips for a moment, just staring into those blue eyes that had been breaking down his resolve since the moment they met. ‘what comes next?’ he thinks, not being able to speak the words aloud.

rounding on the little blonde, he clenches his teeth and points his finger at her, ❛ this doesn’t concern you, ❜ he growls out, throwing a knife in her direction. eyes sweeping over to his brother, who he stalks over to, grabs and jerks towards him. ❛ you left! you left and suddenly you’re back, acting like n-n-nothing hap-pened, ❜ diego swallows and looks away, pushing him into the wall. he prepares to walk away, but then he stops abruptly, because of the small girl, ❛ i don’t know you and i sure as hell don’t like you, now get out of my way. ❜

staring at isaac, he raises his eyebrow to his boyfriend, not entirely sure where all of this was coming from, but he’s enjoying it all the same. they’d been spending the whole day sight seeing, they’d just come back from dinner when they stopped before heading into the gelato shop. diego watches his boyfriend, a smile on his face, his hand reaches out to gently touch the other’s elbow. ❛ babe, you know i feel the same, right? ❜ he questions, not sure why the blue eyed man was randomly confessing his love. for a private investigator, it didn’t occur to him that there were camera’s on him. didn’t occur to him how strange the other had been acting since they booked this trip. didn’t occur to him, that isaac was slowly getting down on his knee.

the fact that she even felt the need to explain herself to him, was annoying. yeah, sure he hadn’t really be around when she’s tried dating in the past, but this... this was a little ridiculous. she liked zuko. liked the attention he paid to her and how he made her feel like she was important outside of her ability to do magic. plus... he was rather pretty to look at, even if they sometimes get into it over his bullheaded ideas. still, she’d needed to see him quickly to grab a few supplies while she was out with isaac, who’d whined and moaned about them having to go see him at all.

leaving the wolf outside on the front stoop, she’d gone into his apartment to get the supplies she came for and just as she’s about to open the front door, zuko’s tugging her into him for a kiss. laughing softly, she slaps his arm and says her goodbye and the smile on her face dies when she sees the expression on his, despite the fact that he’s in his wolf form. katara just couldn’t shake the guilty feeling she had, not really understanding why she felt that way, but still, she felt the need to explain. but then, his comment only makes her furrow her brow, ❛ what is your rush? ❜ she stresses the last word, he’s been in a mood lately and she just couldn’t figure it out.

❛ the potion can wait, ❜ katara snaps, not meaning to intentionally, but his attitude was beginning her to annoy the witch. especially when he doesn’t shift back right away, either. it’s quiet between them while they walk to the car, she keeps her eyes on the tree line while he shifts and pulls his clothes on. that’s not what she wanted, but from the way he rolled his shoulders and looked like he was done with her for the day, katara just sighs. ❛ sure... ❜ the witch enters the car and plops down into it before she’s pulling her phone out. while they drive back to the house, katara can’t help but sweep her gaze over to isaac momentarily to see if he’s finally got something to say.

once they pull up, she gathers her things up and gets out of the car, but before he could she leans down to look at him through the window. ❛ hey... uhm, i’m having dinner with zuko tonight, so you’ll be on your own... don’t forget the toadstool, ❜ she adds before patting the door and straightening up to head into the house.
