While your intentions may be good, wanting to pet and cuddle adorable cubs this industry thrives off your naivety and subsequently every single day in South Africa 2-3 captive bred or tame lions are killed in canned hunts. Lions that have been hand raised and no longer fear humans who then turn and kill them ... and all for money. Currently, almost 8 000 predators are being held in captivity, and none of this has anything to do with conservation.
