Where is this shadow coming from?

Random but first I wanted to throw in the cross symbolism on the left and the demon eyes brenner

Now this dark shot is an important one. At this point, we can see the three figures are right in front of the windows. The mirror, notably, is not in the shot.

And then here, we see them all directly in front of the windows. Also notice that scary bizarre shadow on the left which seems to correspond with the mirror. Now, the mirror is in view, but the guards are not in front of it.

And then finally, the shadow, which seems to mirror the movements of the guard but is not in the right place to actually be the guard's shadow. They're too far ahead.

It almost looks like the shadow vacated from brenner, and moves on to watch what's happening. I wonder if this is how brenner is so omnipresent, he has some sort of true sight ability like Will but instead brenner can shadow walk in the real work, like Princess and the Frog's Shadow Man.

There's also this really clever sound design where they place this spooky queue noise as the shadow appears, but it also plays right after el screams Papa so you could easily hear it as just dramatic emphasis if you're not staring for clues. (X)

TLDR: no one on screen fits the shadow's direction and distance, which indicates to me that the shadow is somehow supernatural and related to brenner.

These shots perturb me greatly. Why do these figures form a pyramid shape with an illuminated Brenner head . ?????????

ALSO WHY THE FUCK do they frame his crotch with this contraption????

Also Why does the chain cover Brenner's right eye ????? And why is his face encased in this evil ass shadow ??

And UGH that door . Scary. The control panel is such an odd shape, looks like a bird pecking at their feet im going insane rn
