Silksong has certainly made me like Hornet a lot more as a character.

I didn't think much of her in Hollow knight. Yeah, her lore was interesting but I didn't think much of her as a character. I am not drawn to the cryptic lone wolf archetype.

Silksong was able to expand her personality a lot more. Yea she is still a lone wolf but one who likes fluffy things, gets rage baited by a white girl and delivers sick burns <3

I love your takes on chronos! Do you think he would embrace some of his stims after he got redeemed? I can picture him tending to his plants or something as he is ticking like a clock, instead of humming a song he is like... counting seconds

I think he would embrace some of his stims post disillusion of time. Maybe a bit self conscious about it at first cuz he spent his whole life masking it. But the House of Hades his neurodivergent enough that I think he follows his grandkids' example of free stimming. <3

I also never thought of Chronos keeping plants that's such a cute idea!

Also forgive me -I know what you meant and I think he would also tick while caring for his plants - but I imagined him counting ticks like he is Minecraft waiting for plants to grow or something sjzjnz

While playing Hades 2 I (and most of the community from what I understand) headcanoned that Melinoë has autism. I honestly love it as I (a person with autism) was playing as someone that also struggled in certain social situations. Not catching people's tone and therefore intent, not understanding why some aren't as passionate as l am about things or how my behaviour makes me seem like a goody too shoes. I like Mel she is great

I'm also in the boat that thinks Zagreus has ADHD.

It can be hereditary so I also think Hades is neurodivergent (don't got a specific one for him)... Sir your house is fine why do you refuse to step in it until it's perfect (I know it's gameplay reasons but gameplay mechanics can also inform us of character. Gotta work with the medium, it's not a movie.)

This naturally made me go up the blood line and now I'm slapping the autism label on Chronos too. One could argue that his stubbornness to change is due to his age (he is immortal idk how he would be affected by age) but it makes more sense to me if it's restricted thinking is what prevented Chronos from changing.

staring at Chronos' sprites for too long has made me realise he grew eyebrows from being evil to nice.

Thinking about the connections between greyroot and the white lady and I had a sudden realisation it means the white lady could have some links to the witch crest in terms of powers? Maybe she has the ability to absorb soul through her roots?

My little headcanon is that greyroot is a species created by The White Lady just how the radiance made the moths and granny silk with the weavers. But because there is no trace of the white lady in pharloom, she is a pale being there would be BIG PRESS about a pale being in shellwood, I think greyroot comes from outside pharloom.

Because part of the life cycle of these root beings is parasitism in travelling bugs it makes me think it serves the purpose of getting these beings across kingdoms. Instead of wind like some plants dispense pollen or seeds, these plants use bugs to travel long distances and spread. I think greyroots' bud carrier came to pharloom, died and now greyroot grew on the gravesite to repeat the cycle and send a seed to another kingdom using a traveller.

I think this explains well how there can be a being that resembles the white lady so much without her being there.

I was replaying hollow knight a few nights ago and I noticed that a pillar was missing in the forgotten crossroads stag station

As the forgotten crossroads stag is likely the first stag the player will come across, this pillar was likely removed to make the bell even more noticeable/readable to new players who are figuring out how things work.

I think that's neat, great job team cherry.
