I guess I’ll cross post this here as this is where it all began anyway! Today marks 2 years since the creation of Lila and while he’s still a squid today and something more! Without that little softie I probably would have never met or become friends with all the wonderful people I have in the past two years. So happy anniversary my flowery son I love you and all the joy you’ve brought into my life~

Soo i’d originally intended to have Blossom, and the girls revealed at some point within the first couple of months of the new year, but it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen. Reason being I’m having way too much fun toying around with ideas for my characters outside the splatoon universe. I will say I still have them all planned just pushed back farther then expected. Another decision I’ve made, and it wasn’t one I made lightly is for the time being I’m going to ice my little AU story and focus entirely on my “canon” one and OC stuff. I may go back to it eventually or if I end up putting too much of those ideas into OC stuff I’ll scrap it all together *shrugs* time will tell on that one. But yeah I still plan to reveal the girls, and continue with splatoon stuff after a few more original things ^^

I started running numbers for my characters age wise when it comes to Suni and Glory and I just... I wasn’t fucking ready for that okay >.< I I might adjust these a bit >.>

I think one of the biggest things I’m hyped about with splatoon 2 when it comes to my own characters is that freaking jump inknado ground slam thing. HOLY CRAP I love that! and it works really well for how I’ve imagined some of Solanum’s ink powers so hell I could probably make some of them canon esq ^^

So given the fact that it's a two year time skip I'll probably still use younger Lila's design (the tweaked obe of course) As for Solanum he might not be around as much since he'd be off on his travels there'd be a lot of changes for him to come back to both family and the game he once knew.

#brett's rambles #Sol goes off on his own around that time so this'll be interesting #but hey when he returns he'll jump right back into it all ^^

So I’ve mentioned the fact that Lila and Solanum when older could disguise themselves as octolings for a short time, and the idea popped into my head of Lila performing it for the first time and excitedly running to show Cytisus who would be very surprised to say the least.

I almost forgot I’m fiddling with the idea of having Glory’s seaweed ribbons be more then just fashion and actually be something she can use almost as a whip for certain techniques with her brush. The one thing I could think of atm would be if need be to pull the ribbons from behind her and whip them towards her brush to grab it if it was knocked away form her, or even to disarm an opponent.
