i finished wave listen to me and it was pretty solid though i felt parts of it came across as a little disjointed and i know its a manga adaption so that might be why but some stuff just kinda came and went with weirdly little relevance

the makie stuff was kinda weird considering minare never ever engages with her at all or her plotline and they turn her character development into "i have to decide my own path...." WHICH SEEMS A LITTLE LIKE ITS UNDERMINING THE ACTUAL ISSUE. but anyway. besides some of that stuff i thought the cast and writing was pretty solid across the board. lots of good animation in there, especially in terms of character acting which i always like looking at, this really feels like someones passion project
