TORIC- “This is supposed to be the master suite? It is smaller than our bedroom at the apartment. And the bathroom is outdated, even if this house is only five years old!”
BRIAN- “But come take a look at this balcony off the bedroom!”
We went out on the balcony and the view was beautiful. I was sold, but Toric apparently needed a little more convincing. We went outside to discuss our possible bid with Brian.
MARC- “Toric, this place is exactly what we were looking for. It has everything we want. The basement is an added bonus! All these things you don’t like are cosmetic we can fix them. We can take a wall out upstairs, open the bedroom and redo the bath up there.”
BRIAN- “Well, if you are going to put all that work into it, to make it what you want we can discuss lowering the price a bit so you have enough in your budget for the remodeling.”
TORIC- “SOLD! Where do we sign?”
I finally realized that this was all in Toric’s plan and we bid 20k less for a remodeling budget, the bid was accepted and we should take possession within 30 days! This man was a keeper for sure!!
