(I just needed to say that I agree with you. People making Castiel this innocent and naive 'baby' who knows absolutely nothing about humans when he literally watched humans evolve is getting tiresome.)

rIGHT. 

People seem to forget that he’s not some child. He is an ancient celestial being who has been around since before humanity was even a thing. He is clever, cunning, and can be a merciless creature of wrath if he must. Yet at the same time he has a heart of gold and cares so deeply about humans and the Earth itself. He expresses so many deep emotions without even knowing it. And he’s flawed. He can be prideful at times, and he has a habit of trusting a little too easily and jumping the shark without thinking of all the consequences (and that’s only two examples). Yes, he is out of the loop when it comes to some aspects of humanity, and yes, he can can be really freaking adorable sometimes, but he’s not a little kitten (even if i may use this as a term of endearment). He is a complex character and as someone who could spend years talking about him, it’s really annoying to see him portrayed as this two dimensional little baby.

Ugh sorry I got carried away again. I love this angel so much.
