I’ve got a project in mind, and it needs bricks, so I got to dissembling the decaying barbecue again to build up a stash.  If I can have enough bricks ready to go from the start, I have a better chance of completing my project.

The BBQ is all crumbling mortar and a massive ant colony.  It appears to be pre-Portland-cement mortar.  Not difficult work, at least not with heavy gloves and a masonry chisel.
