for the first brief we got the assignment to create a vending machine out of cardboard. this is the result of ours. its a soda mixing machine. you pay, you select the soda from the buttons then you get the soda out of the tubes.

seeing as it needed to work, but didn’t have any way of automatically doing things, we hade to make due. to pour the soda into the tubes, we used four different funnels - as we only had four sodas in stock. to be able to select the sodas that were actually in stock we made those buttons the only ones pushable.

one person sat inside and put new cups in the dispenser after they had been removed, and another stood behind pouring the drinks.

during the planning phase there was a few things we decided upon, and a few things we wondered about - so we wrote them down on post its so they’d be easier to change.

Brief 01. Branding A Place

My aim is branding and promoting Winterbourne Botanic Garden. it is a very nice place for relaxing. I want to rebranding this botanic garden to increase the visitor’s number.

For the target audience are young people. Because there is a place for leisure and educational. (the knowledge of botanical and the garden has different kinds of workshop)

Tone of Voice: Calm, peaceful, relaxing and feels like home

Approaches: Clean and simple

Technique: Printmaking, water colour, illustration

Media: Branding(business card, stationery, signs, staff wearing, etc.), poster, brochure and packaging design (cafe and shop)
