Abirt Kravitz (Dr Bright Rewrite)

My Dr Bright rewrite! I'm so happy to finally get it done! His name is Abirt Kravitz and he's currently the second oldest out of all 5 Kravitz Siblings. He's also O5-7.

Not much have changed since my former Bright designs other than a change from the amulet and I made him look older and fixed his colours a bit more.

There's still other stuff that I haven't decided on- like their anomalies and backstory. And the 963 Design is not permanent. It's what I'm going with right now until I get some better ideas.

Anyways, some fun facts about Abirt:

Xe uses any pronouns!

Has multiple doctorates and masters because he's old and has a lot of free time but he's most well-known for his specialty in history making him a historian!

He has 3 kids but they went missing years ago (a lore of its own).

Dating Simon Glass! They are your local elderly queer couple!

If the name Abirt is familiar then you're right! It's actually the name for Bright in the Bellerverse canon after they all became gods to the new world!

And the O5-7 part came from the newer series where Jack has been written as part of the council. I really like that idea. Being O5-7 specifically came from SCP-5493 and The Foundation is Broke.

Abirt Kravitz

O5-7 | The Eternal

Genderfluid. Jewish origin. Unknown age though rumoured to have been above 2 centuries. Varying appearance with a favour of accessories and jewelry. Said to have gained immortality from a cursed bloodline.

O5-7 plays the role of personnel director. He is in-charge of overseeing all personnel designation within the Foundation. Is also said to personally run at least 3 different Foundation sites in-person.

Known for their lack of formalities and charisma. Within Foundation staff, however, he is known for his irritability and extreme high expectations.

One of the most active O5s with connections everywhere.

Fuck it, I'll make my own version of Bright and rewrite the entire family myself.

I already have some base but it's going to take a while to fully rework and remake this entire thing. The thing's rooted deep and I need to do a lot of research.

So until then, I'll pause my shit on Bright. Until I get a bit more of a solid footing and figure out more stuff.

The people i rant to about my ideas are asleep so all of you gets the joy of me infodumping my rewritten Adam and Evelyn lore. Copy pasted from me infodumping my friends in discord

The Mikhail one gets a separate post since it's also pretty lengthy.

(I mean, it's a rewrite of Adam and Evelyn bright and also my commentary and thoughts so yea.)

Mikell is rewritten to Mikhail. Evelyn is now Evelyn Pollack and Adam is Adam Kravitz.

Adam was the youngest out of like 7? Siblings and they were all more involved in the Anomalous Community. Maybe they were even from a different reality altogether..

And then maybe something happened that kinda. Like. Split them apart and Adam spends his life trying to find his way back which is why and how he met Founder and started the Foundation.

Thinking that he met Evelyn along the way and fell for him and when he had Mikhail Adam thought of just saying fuck it and focus on family but then when Mikhail like, turned 10 or smtg, Adam found a possible lead to the rest of his own siblings so when Mikhail turned 13 he just dropped and left to research and look into the lead abandoning his current family.

And then there's Evelyn which is even more complicated because she genuinely loves Adam and wants to help him but I feel like between the two of them, Evelyn was always more of a back seater who allows Adam to drag him anywhere. Which is what convinced her to leave Mikhail too.

Like ofc she knows Mikhail's too young to be left alone on the farm but Adam was dead set on going back to Foundation and Evelyn was like "this man is going to get himself killed if Im not there to make sure he eats or drink" so Evelyn went with him.

And here's where it gets fucked up. I think Terach, Tzipora and even Sarah is Evelyn's attempt to get Adam's attention to focus on family. Like a very "okay two wasn't enough so many one more" and boom tzipora and terach and yea it works for like what? A year? two? And then Adams back on his shit again. And Evelyn tries again which is how she got Sarah and then.

The Sarah incident which is currently being rewritten and figured out.

More Abirt & co. fun facts because I'm having brainrot:

She dyed his hair red. I haven't got a reason why he's got yellow-green tips but it's either a cross between Old Dye Job Fading Out or magic by 963. She's also got grey hairs because she's an old man. :>

OH! Speaking of 963! My version of 963 is made of Amber. I think it's fitting since Abirt is a historian and also old and one of a kind. And Amber is exclusive to Earth, very ancient and preserves historical things. :D

Likes cooking but cannot be trusted with baking. (Leave baking to Simon!). Scared of making latkas though

Very morning bird. Awake by 6am and sleeps at 10. (Simon is the night owl, however, and sleeps at 3am)

They were in-laws with O5-1 | The Founder | Aaron Siegel at one point. Legally they still technically are in-laws?? Maybe??

Uses a quill! Thinks they're fancy and pretty but also because she's old fashioned.

Many, many canes all in different colours and types. Matches his outfits. Also likes to add stickers to them.

He's also ambidextrous! Learned to use both xer hands out of boredom and thought it would make her look cooler.

Simon is deaf and blind on the side with scars. It's what caused him to switch career paths from field agent to psychologist years ago (haven't made up lore yet).

Atticus is a little shit that likes to fuck around and find out and Abirt has to stop him from fucking around and finding out all the time.

So I rewrote Code Brown but with the Kravitz Family...

Okay we've all read Code Brown. This is just that but rewritten with like 7k words, multiple chapters and more interactions between the family.

But if you haven't, Code Brown was basically talking about a Bright Family Reunion after Claire Lumineaux's death. In there, the Bright family gathered so Tamlin could hand out things Claire had left behind in the will.

Now go back to the second sentence of the summary.

I've figured out some ideas for Tamlin and I'm not sure which one I'll settle on but I need to make a list:

Tamlin is a Time-God/Deity

Tamlin is a god-like being of time who was worshipped at like a point in the really far off past. Their followers were split into a few families and due to time, eventually they died out except for one which was the Bright family. So Tamlin gives that one ancestor the gift of immortality or longevity to make sure that Tamlin doesn't die or the family doesn't die out like the others. Or as a reward for being a loyal follower. That's how Tamlin is still around despite being the 'Founder' of the family.

This one makes it so that they're not really blood related to the family but is still seen as a Founder of some sorts within it for being the first to give them their gift (or curse to a few). This idea is the one I like the most. Gives the family a really good reason why it exists.

Tamlin is a title and certain family members can inherit the title.

Not sure how this would work out but every few centuries, a family member will shed their original name and gain the title "Tamlin". The anomalies and powers relating to time is tied to the name so anyone who inherits the name, inherits the powers, abilities and knowledge Tamlin has. It's like an SCP-001 but for the bright family.

I mean, names hold power. And also like this makes the whole 'they're Mikell's great-grandson but also the founder of the family less like how it is now. (Also gives me a good idea for Yoric because I think he can be the next Tamlin)

Tamlin pissed off a god or smtg and now everyone's cursed

Tamlin is cursed with immortality. They are the biological founder of the entire family and sticks around for personal reasons or entertainment. It's unsure what's their goals are but they do keep a general eye out.

This completely cuts out the whole part where they're Mikell's great-grandson that has time travelling abilities but it would be pretty boring imo. Just some guy with immortality that pissed smtg off and cursed the entire bloodline. (I mean it could be in character tho)

Also other interesting family ideas I have is that Family Historians are certain members of the family that specifically studied, records and keep tracks of the family. Basically an archivist but for the family.

Also due to their immortality/longevity curse, most beings in the universe that have those traits have a chance to be a family member. It's not always, but it's a pretty high chance.

Oh yea and not all family members are human.
