It’s been just over a week since I got back and landed right at the start of winter. Already I am thinking back to days like these, when at least 3 showers a day were required (really as soon as I set foot outdoors), when walking barefoot on searing hot sand literally brought tears to my eyes, when I regretted leaving my aloe gel back at home, and when the sea and pool water was as warm as a bath...I asked my kids if they prefer the current wet cold grey weather or the very hot weather in Thailand (even locals said it was hotter than usual), and being yin and yang, they each answered the opposite to each other.
