The subway was deserted, for the most part. Save for the one train that ran the night shift from one edge to the other, the place was deserted.
Well, mostly deserted.
A single man stood by the edge of the loading bay, head faced to where the train would eventually come running down the track. Though, this train wasn’t expected for a good couple of minutes. Alone and waiting, though hardly seeming to hold it so.
Something was certainly off about it.
