3 of 9 | from the album art for Ryan Farish's newest release - "Art for Life" - 36"x36" oils on canvas using brushes and palette knife - follow us @nelsonmakesart for more! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What kind of music gets you creatively inspired? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The rocks and mountains of the Sierra Nevada's inspired me in creating this album art for "Art for Life." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Two years ago I hiked up from the Yosemite Valley floor to the very top of Half Dome. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The rocks, the paths, the trees...coming around any bend and seeing the expanse of Yosemite...you never knew what amazing thing was coming next. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That's kind of what it was like painting this album art for Ryan. Every time we'd finish a coat it brought entirely new life to the piece, and surprised us.
