A little udon noodle vegetable soup. Very hearty & packed with broccoli, green & red peppers, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, onions & scallions. Then I added some Korean spicy fried vegetable dumplings. Couldn’t even finish it, quite a meal. The soup itself was missing something tho, needed a bit more flavor or some spice to move it up to the next level. Overall just a little bland for my palette but possibly just the way the soup is. Here we have a Shrimp & Sweet Corn Chowder with some homemade cornbread. Packed full of corn, potatoes & shrimp. Just the right amount of kick to it, tons of bold flavor but not overbearingly spicy. Extremely palatable but still warms you up. Going ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this one based only on the fact I normally don’t care for seafood but this was fantastic. Sometimes a hot day like today calls for some spicy beef shank noodle soup from Joy Yee Noodles. Green onion, red onion, bean sprouts, some basil leaves, of course beef & noodles & then also some sort of grass that was really good. Had a stroke of genius & added my Japanese beef dumplings right into the soup for fun. When they say spicy they’re not kidding around, it was bursting with rich hot flavor. A full meal by itself, I couldn’t even come close to finishing it.
