Tip of the day: Bring along a compact dog travel bowl and fill it from your own water bottle. 🐕💧 Check that roads, paths, or sandy beaches aren't too hot for paws, and always give them lots of drinks of freshwater or wet down their coats. 🐕🚶♀️🌡☀️💧 While dogs need daily walks, on very hot days, avoid walking dogs altogether. Since we are in Australia, as a rough guide, dogs should only be walked in the cool of the morning roughly between 5am-7am or the cool of the evening from roughly 6pm onwards. 🐕🚶♀️ Each dog is an individual and you need to modify your walking schedule accordingly. Make adjustments for age, injury, their breeds, or breed mixes, and whether they are "Brachycephalic" (Squish-faced with shortened noses).
