Use this flavorful injection mixture to boost the flavor and juiciness of your smoked beef brisket. Every bite has more depth and richness thanks to the combination of spices, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup beef broth. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Instructions: Mix the Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, onion and garlic powders, black pepper, and cayenne pepper thoroughly in a bowl with the beef broth. Focusing on the thickest portions of the meat, evenly inject the mixture into the beef brisket using an injection syringe. To ensure that the injection mixture is evenly distributed throughout the meat, massage the brisket. For optimal flavor absorption, let the brisket marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight. Assemble your smoker in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, then smoke the beef brisket for 1 hour and 15 minutes per pound at 225F 107C or until it reaches your preferred doneness. Before slicing and serving, the smoked brisket should rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
