New Years at the bunker was supposed to be simple. Sam, Dean, Cas, and Ryder were each going to bring their own set of alcohol to share, watch the ball drop on the TV, and drink to forget the previous year. Sometimes, they’d make eggnog that was heavily spiked with liquor, but they decided against it this time around since the year prior, Dean got extremely hammered and sang Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler at least twenty times.

They never did decorations, except for the occasional festive sunglasses or beaded necklaces from a local Party City. Their celebration for the upcoming year was meant to be low-key. Nothing special, nothing fancy.

Ryder was chugging down the champagne at the screams of joy from the ball drop on the screen when she heard a big pop from behind. Careful not to choke on her drink, she spun around to see colorful confetti falling down from above. They playfully landed in her hair, on the table, on the floor, and even a couple in her glass. Then, her eyes landed on the three stooges, who were covered from head to toe from the confetti with fearful expressions on their faces. 

“Which one of you asshole brought confetti?” She asked, setting her glass down at the table before crossing her arms over her chest.

It was dead silent for a split moment, until Cas chickened out. “Dean did.”

“Dude, come on! You said you wouldn’t rat me out,” Dean shouted back in response.

“I know, I’m sorry, but I don’t like it when Ryder gets mad.”

The women rolled her eyes in annoyance as she grabbed a new glass to fill with harder alcohol than champagne. “This mess,” she gestured towards the confetti around them, “better be cleaned up before I wake up in the morning.”

🎞 which oc binged every film known to man during quarantine? wynonna collins steals the cake! a true quarantine, self-isolating queen, who doesn’t move from the couch and streams everything to keep her from boredom. she’s watched sitcoms, action movies, reality shows, classic movies that did not live up to the hype, shitty tv shows, and plenty more. i mean, she’s a taurus so if that doesn’t explain anything, i don’t know what does.

RYDER 👏 AND 👏 DEAN

▸ how did they they meet? they met on that hunt in s2 episode 2 i think with that killer clown thingy ( i forgot what its called oops ). but anyways, the file ellen showed sam in that episode, she mentioned that it was something for a friend.... ryder being that friend. so when she finds out no good hunters stole her case to earn her some extra cash, my baby girl is hella upset. her and dean bicker/argue from the getgo lol i love my parents.

▸ who developed romantic feelings first? they both do, but they’re sooooo fucking stubborn about their feelings. sure, they’ve had sex before actually feelings got involved since they’re both v attractive people, but real feelings don’t come until s5.

▸ who is their biggest “shipper?” probably sam bc he’s like oh finally, they’re together. about damn time haha. or maybe god/chuck since he’s the one who put them together in the first place.

▸ when did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances? well i mean they’re gonna have sex in like the third chapter and they def have some hot make out scenes so i guess that counts. their first kiss isn’t like a big deal i guess.

▸ who confessed their feelings first? deano. in s5, there will be a scene where he and ryder are alone and he’s lost all hope with continuously saying no to michael. so before he goes and makes that big decision, he decides to let his true feelings out to her and its v soft and emotional.

▸ what was their first official date? do they even have time for dates lol? i guess a bar or something idk they’re not a going out type of dating people. 

▸ how do they feel about double dates/group dates? not big on that. it doesn’t seem like they’re thing tbh.

▸ what do they do in their down time? when they’re not out on cases, they’re probs chilling at the bunker, stuffing their faces with food, and binging on the classics.

▸ what was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like? dean never met ryder’s asshole parents since they die before then. and since both mary and john come back, imma talk about that. mary and john both liked ryder and valued all she’s done for dean and sam. funny thing is that ryder has never liked john and she makes this known when he comes back in the 300th episode. her and mary have ups and downs, but they do have a semi-good relationship.

▸ what was their first fight over and how did they get past it? i mean they’ve been fighting since the beginning so they def argue a lot. their first real screaming match is probs ryder trying to separate herself from the winchesters bc they’re no good hunters no matter what they do and dean’s had enough of her bs.

▸ which one is more easily made jealous? oof.... probs ryder. dean is her man and she makes that known.

▸ what is their favorite thing to get to eat? burgers or pizza. a classic on the go food.

▸ who’s the cuddly one? what’s their favorite cuddling position? dean. he likes to hold her throughout the night even tho they both move around a lot in their sleep lol.

▸ are they hand holders? do i even have any ships who are hand holders lol??? but yeah not really. maybe once in a blue moon, but nah.

▸ how long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? what’s the circumstances? a few weeks. they literally have sex within the third chapter.

▸ who tops? 80% ryder. 20% dean. ryder likes to top her men and that’s a fact.

▸ what’s the worst first they’ve ever gotten into? oh god... um.... i dont really know what to say?? probably the first time ryder died lol that was a bad first bc that lasted like what?? two years???

▸ who does the shopping and the cooking? when they have the time, they both do but they interchange roles a lot.

▸ which one is more organized and prone to tidiness? dean. i know people like to categorize him as the messy one, but like did y’all see his room when they got settled in the bunker? everything was in order and neatly decorated so yeah, dean is def perfect for this.

▸ who proposes? proposing??? lol what’s that??? ( maybe dean idk )

▸ do they have joined bachelor/bachelorette parties or separate? if they do ever get married, that shit is gonna be separate. 100%.

▸ who is the best man/maid of honor? any other groomsmen or bridesmaids? lol this is funny. who would even fit these categories?? sam obs the best man but ryder’s maid of honor???? who is even alive at that point???

▸ big ceremony or small? small.

▸ do they have a honeymoon? if so, where? somewhere they don’t have to worry about hunting. literally anywhere, they don’t care. they just want one week of bliss.

Hmmm OC questions! So the SPN meta episodes are my favorite. Is Ryder in Chuck's books? And if so what do the fans think of her?

oH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST ASK EVER!!!!!!

okay so i love the meta eps so much and i have so much stuff planned for them! for the fan convention episode in s5, it will be mentioned that ryder was in chuck’s books. she even reads them as they drive up to see him and she’s like “wow, he even wrote all of my sex scenes in detail. sounds like a pretty cool dude.” she does get upset with how he wrote her emotions down because she doesn’t think she’s that dramatic, but everyone else totally agrees with chuck lol.

for the fans, there are definitely people who love her, hate her, thinks she would end up with sam instead of dean, etc. when they show up at the convention, someone cosplays as her and they have the audacity to tell ryder that she doesn’t have “the look” and ryder is 100% ready to cut a bitch. and when people try to erase her as bisexual, ryder literally has to be held back so she doesn’t kill someone.

“You come here often?” Ryder asked in her usual flirty manner as she stepped foot in Kat’s office.

The blonde ducked her head, trying to suppress a smirk that so desperately wanted to form. “Well, I work here. So I think I’d have to say ‘yes’.” Kat stated.

Ryder dramatically rolled her eyes and sat down in the chairs in front of her desk with a fake pout on her face. “You could’ve just played along, Kat. You know how well that pick up line works for me.” She replaced her frown with a shit-eating grin paired with a wink.

Kat’s cheeks burned bright red, which, of course, made the brunette smile’s even wider. Every time Ryder had successfully make the hunter-in-training flustered, a point was added to her scoreboard. So far, it was five to zero; the mercenary winning by a long shot. 

It wasn’t really a game, in all honesty. She just found it very amusing to see a woman like her turn as red as a tomato whenever Ryder used her charm to her advantage. That and she thought it was adorable. 

Knowing Kat wasn’t going to make a comment, the brunette sidetracked the conversation. It was what she always did in those situations, hoping it would leave less room for awkward silence and ignore their obvious unspoken thing. “Anyways, I was driving through Cali to follow up on a lead and I figured we could catch up a bit tonight before I head out in the morning.”

The blonde let out a breathy laugh. Kat knew her all too well to not catch on to the hidden meaning beneath her words. “By catching up, do you mean going out for drinks until we’re shitfaced or me spending the night at whatever motel you’re staying at?”

Ryder raised her hands up in defense, “Hey, you said it not me. But now that you’ve mentioned it, I wouldn’t mind a bit of both.” Before Kat could refuse as she normally did, Ryder backtracked. “Okay, look, we could just grab a couple of drinks and call it a night. It doesn’t have to be anything more than that if that’s what you want.”

What came next was both a surprise to the mercenary and to the hunter-in-training. The former believed the latter would’ve disregard her comment and focused on something else. It was her exit ticket every time. But that wasn’t the case in that moment.

The smirk finally appeared on Kat’s lips, no longer trying to hide it. “You know what? Fuck it. You better be as good as you say you are, Ry, or else I’ll be disappointed.” With that, she got up from her desk and walked out of her office, leaving the other woman taken aback with her response.
