BLOG MOVING

[[ So, if you came from the old blog you know that I recently made this one to move over to it. Basically, there were TOO many improperly tagged posts. I haven’t transferred over any of my pages yet, but I will be soon. theydeservetolive-archive is the old blog, it has ALL my pages and everything. Unfortunately, there’s who knows how many headcanon posts that aren’t with the most recent tag system or ANY tag system. ]]

Mun Notice - Hiatus Return Soon

[[ I realize it’s been a while, but I’m expecting to come back soon. 

Frankly, I’m thinking that I may create a NEW blog and archive this one, as in - move Sam to a different blog simply because I got an EXTENSIVE amount of improperly tagged posts on here. Over 2000? Which, I want all of my headcanons and posts to be neat so that’s why I’m thinking of the switch. Regardless if I do or not, I’ll be making a hc post a day, with each day of the week being a theme. ]]

For theme ideas, It’ll probably be like...

Vampires, 

Alternated Science, 

Alternated History, 

Societal, 

Character, 

AU, 

and Hunter Organization.

in some decided order. I feel like that adequately covers the different type of headcanons. Alternated Science/History being how the story setting differs from ACTUAL history.

One thing I have regretted is that despite all my ideas, I didn’t catalogue them here or write them down properly. I swear I have countless theories and ideas behind my vampires, but when I look at the tag or the page? Nearly nothing solid.

I feel like remaking my blog will be a good thing, and why I’m leaning towards it.

[[ Also, I realized that I have A LOT of vampire headcanons that are no where in the tags. So, I’m going to start doing a weekly upload I think just so the headcanons are actually in the tag rather than just scattered around in the abyss. ]]

Update

[[ I’m not that active on here, so I’m going to change the way I do replies/starters/etc.

Here’s what I usually do. I see the starter, think about it for some time whenever i come on, spend anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes writing it, writing out a few different alternatives, finally picking one and making sure it’s good, do a grammar and sentence flow check, then finally publish. Rinse and repeat for every reply. 

Usually, I’ll work on replies then come back and finish them later.

tl;dr I end up trying to make it the best I can, which is slow and even keeps me from getting to the reply at all because I know how time-consuming and energy-draining it’ll be.

SO, what I’m gonna do is start doing ‘first runs.’ Basically, just writing out what comes to me first, and limit myself to a max of 10 minute revision time. 

However, I’m going to be aiming for just a quick readover to assure myself I didn’t screw up the grammar or anything major. ]]
