❣ - An unpopular opinion I have:

I feel people put far too much stock in moral ambiguity in a story.  Just because your story is gray-and-gray morality doesn't actually make it any more "deep" or "complex" than a story that is black-and-white.  Adding moral ambiguity because it's "realistic" isn't really a good excuse either, because there are real world black-and-white situations going on even right now.  Portraying a black-and-white world isn't a bad thing, you don't need a complicated moral dilemma to have good storytelling.  Your villains do not have to be sympathetic or relate-able.  Sometimes, people are just dicks for no good reason, and sometimes people are good samaritans for exactly the same thing.

Thank you kindly, miss.  Besides, most folks only ever seem to look at the immediate and the obvious.  Forgetting that there's more to what's going on.  Besides, it wouldn't be the first time I dealt with a potential partner of considerable size.
