Shortest Hiatus on Record

After only three weeks without any new pony, we’re back! (Not that we ever left; Random Pony ran through the hiatus too.)

Join us on July 27th for Sunset’s Backstage Pass, another one hour Equestria Girls special.

And then again on August 3rd and beyond for the return of Season 9, continuing with episode 14.

As always, right before the new episodes will be our weekly Mare-a-thon of recent pony episodes, and starting 6pm EST on the Friday night beforehand and running all the way through the night is our Random Pony stream. Join in any time or pony the whole night through if you can!

Long time, no news -- but BronyTV continues bringing you pony (almost) every weekend.

January 2026 marked BTV's 14th anniversary, and we're still keeping the light of friendship going. Maybe a little quieter than during the main show, but still here.

Movie Time

It's finally time! Most of you will have already seen the G5 movie, of course, since we wanted to allow time for people to watch it through normal channels first. But for those who haven't seen it yet, or those who just want to watch it again with friends (or random internet ponies, at least), get ready.

BronyTV will be streaming the movie next weekend (Sat Nov 6) at the usual newpone time of 11:30am Eastern. (Check the countdown or the schedule page to see what that is in your local time.)

As always, the stream itself will start around 6pm Friday with some Random Pony and continue through the night, to keep you topped up on that pony fix (and if that isn't enough for you, we're still streaming every Friday night as well).

We'll be skipping the preshow mare-a-thon this time around, since we've seen it all before by now -- but you're still welcome to request episodes or PMVs throughout the night. Get in early to ensure there's time for your request.

Hiatus? What hiatus? It’s time for the Legend of Everfree!

Here’s the approximate timetable for the HuMareathon:

Friday 6:00pm - Saturday 6:00am: Random Pony Media/Episodes

Saturday 6:00am - 6:22am: S06E22 Pony Point of View

Saturday 6:22am - 7:35am: EG1 Equestria Girls

Saturday 7:35am - 7:54am: S06E23 Where the Apple Lies

Saturday 7:54am - 9:10am: EG2 Rainbow Rocks

Saturday 9:10am - 9:32am: S06E24 Top Bolt

Saturday 9:32am - 10:42am: EG3 Friendship Games

Saturday 10:42am - 11:30am: S06E25-26 To Where and Back Again

Saturday 11:30am - 12:40pm: EG4 Legend of Everfree

That’s the current plan at least, but the times aren’t set in stone -- some things might change around a bit if enough people yell at me in the chat before it gets started, or if I get distracted playing random videos. So come early if you don’t want to miss something.

(If you’re not sure what local times those are, look at the countdown on the right for the main EG4 time, or the upcoming event times below that for the major events.)

This won’t be the end of Random Pony streams, of course; during the hiatus it’ll still stream most Friday nights from 6pm to midnight. Around midnight, if there’s enough ponies still awake we might play some Jackbox games, or perhaps something else.

It’s nearly time for the season 6 finale of MLP. Which of course we’ll be streaming here -- but not at the usual time. The finale is a double episode, which means instead of starting at 11:30am like usual, it will be starting at 11:00am instead. We’re also going to be starting the restream a little earlier too, after only a 15 minute break. Don’t be late! The approximate timetable will be:

Friday 6pm - Saturday ~9:15am: Random Pony Media/Episodes

Saturday ~9:15am - 11:00am: Mare-a-thon (4 episodes)

Saturday 11:00am - 12:00pm: Episodes 25 & 26

Saturday 12:00pm - 12:15pm: Intermission

Saturday 12:15pm - 1:00pm: Finale Restream

But wait! There’s more! Not content with letting this be the final week of overnight pony, next week we’ll be doing it again, only this time the morning feature will be the Equestria Girls 4 movie, Legend of Everfree. A detailed timetable will be posted closer to the time, but we’ll be mixing in pony episodes with all four EG movies for a real Humareathon. So don’t forget to tune in to BTV next week as well to join in on the fun!

Never miss a show, check out our new schedules page!

Hey bronies, pegasisters, all far and wide! I am here again to introduce a new page that I have been working on for the past few days. Notice the new link at the menu bar? Thats right! The schedules page! From there, you can get a quick glimpse of the events that are happening right here on BronyTV within the next month or so. Need more info? No problem! Just click on the individual event, which will take you to a page which lists the start/end time and maybe even a description of the event. Also, if you look at the right sidebar, you can also find the next three events that will premiering pretty soon.

I have done my best with incorporating timezones into the event listings. So it should show you exactly when the show is happening. No need to convert the times! I’ve got you covered!

New Chat Page!

Some of you would want a page just for chatting, nothing else in the way. So for the last week or so, Dusk and I have worked our hats off with the awesome new page! With an added bonus, we have also taken the liberty to reskin two of the themes from KiwiIRC (Relaxed & Mini) to fit the BronyTV’s theme. You can switch them via the settings from the top right corner of the client.

The client itself contains our very special pony emoticons. Try and find them all! :D

Keep in mind as we are in a somewhat early process of implementing the IRC. If you find any bugs, and/or problems with using the client, please message Dusk or EndenDragon on the IRC.

Last but not least, we would like to thank both KiwiIRC for their open sourced code & midori-no-ink for their EmotiPonies for the client!

New site, new complaint box!

Well since we’ve made a new site, I figured we’d go ahead and open up where to post actual issues with the site. We’re actually on GitHub! So if people have issues with the site functionality or find bugs feel free to open an issue on our git.

However we must ask that if the issue is related to the stream not working be taken to IRC as the stream is not an inherent part of the site as we use external services to stream out content.
