5 Natural Makeup Tricks

Going natural has always been a great makeup trend. After all, we cant always run around with a full face of makeup. The natural look is beautiful and ultimately enhances your natural beauty. Below are 5 natural makeup tricks we have seen on the runways and how to achieve them at home.

Natural Look 1: Golden Goddess

Gold tones are a great way to look natural and have glowing skin. Gold tones automatically bring out warmth in your skin and help create the idea of bronzed skin; even when you have not been in the sun for months! To achieve the perfect gold-toned look you first have to find the right eyeshadow combination.

Chanel Les Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Spices is the ultimate Golden Goddess mix! It is all about bronze and gold with a lot of texture.

Line the top and bottom of the eyes with a soft brown pencil. You want to smudge the line all around to create a very subtle smoky brown eye.

Apply your shadow.

Line the inner eye with the most golden tone of your eye shadow palette to highlight the eyes.

Complete the look with dark brown mascara.

Natural Look 2: Lined Eyes

The cat and winged eye have become extremely popular throughout the past few seasons. The beauty of this look is that you truly do not need much makeup to achieve it. All you really need is a good liquid liner and mascara! This is of course a very young look. Therefore you have to be very careful as to how much you accentuate the wing. For day you can go very simple and at night you can play it up more by adding to the liner and making it a thicker line. Your mascara plays a huge role in this look, as they eye looks finished once your lashes are lush and lengthy.

Chanel Extracils Super Curl Mascara is the perfect mascara for the simple lined eye. It curls the lashes and lengthens them to look almost impossibly long.

Start lining the top of your eye. Begin at the inside and work your way out. Remember to wing out and make line thicker as you approach the end of the eye.

Line the bottom of the eyes with a very thin line, staying as close to the lash line as possible. Look upward as you do this.

Apply two to three coats of mascara.

Natural Makeup Look 3: Royal Flush

There is nothing more beautiful or natural than the look of a natural blush. The look you get after being at the beach for an hour or so and your cheeks start to get that perfectly natural blush tone. This is a great look to use when you are in a mega hurry, yet still want to make sure you don’t look pale or simply un-made. The key here is to choose a blush that has bits of iridescence in it, to help reflect the natural light from outside.

Chanel Joues Contrast Powder Blush in Narcisse is the color to use for this look. It is actually discontinued, therefore if you can get your hands on it; do so! This shade looks great on every skin tone and goes on super natural.

Apply a drop of highlighter to each cheek, blending in well using your ring finger.

Apply blush to the apple of your cheeks, right over the highlighted area. The highlighting will add extra radiance to the blush and make it look even more natural.

Complete the look with mascara.

Natural Makeup Look 4: Ethereal Beauty

Don’t we all wish we looked as beautiful as Aphrodite. A goddess with a radiance that illuminates from head to toe. I know I do! Radiating head to toe may be quite the challenge, however getting a bit of radiance to your face is super easy and super natural. For this look you need a really pretty eyeshadow with a lot of iridescence, and color. You will also need to grab that mascara to lengthen and thicken your brows.

Christian Dior 3 Colours Glow Luminous Graphic Eye Palette is a perfect blend of golden and ivory tones with a hint of iridescence.

Fill in the crease of the eye with the darkest color of the palette.

Apply the more pearly color of the palette to the eyelid. Concentrate on the inner eye to make sure you add extra luminosity to that area.

Do not use liner, but do use 3 coats of mascara!

Natural Makeup Look 5: Taupe Eyes

A taupe eye is the perfect go, go, go look. All it takes is a simple cream shadow and mascara. No real thinking about this, just swipe, brush and go! It is a perfect color for those with brown eyes!

Bobby Brown Cream Shadow is Taupe is the perfect shade for a natural taupe eye.

Apply the cream shadow all over the eye, using your ring finger.

Add a think line with a kohl pencil in dark brown to the under eye only!

Apply 2 coats of mascara.
