How's about an AU where Broo falls for Quentin instead of Idie and proceeds to try to woo him.

Quentin denies all of Broo’s advances by being a sarcastic & rude prick, something Broo isn’t able to understand & grasp, that coupled with someone (Evan *cough* *cough*) telling Broo that Quentin’s “playing hard to get”.

Broo’s misunderstandings and Quentin’s miscommunications could’ve been made really funny.

Quentin could gradually develop feelings for Broo because Broo makes him feel wanted.

the fact they’re 2 boys would NEVER be used against them because that’s not fucking funny and 2nd it’s about a sweet, smart, & beloved clueless alien falling for a powerful genius and unlikable douchebag

also Broo & Idie are BFFs and she has to deal with Broo gushing about a literal dumpster fire named Quentin
