she probably should get going. untangle from the wrinkled sheets, get her clothes gathered up from around the room & go back to her own apartment. what she shouldn't be doing, is lay stretched out, arms wrapped around one of his pillows ( which smell really good by the way. very dean, which it's not fair. a guy smelling this good. and when had she started noticing these kinds of things anyways ? ) and she is kinda almost falling asleep right there. because she's warm and for once she feels relaxed. she feels safe and it doesn't help, the way his fingers trace across skin. maybe not entirely random, she knows at least some of those places have a few marks left by him earlier.
fingers lazily tracing the marks they just left on your skin. dean di laurentis & brooke maddox. ( @bri4rs. )
brooke maddox + scars.
facial scar : 2 - 3 cm long scar along jawline & near the hairline. something she struggle with because she see it every day. usually covered up with makeup, but noticable if you know where to look.
abdomen / lower ribs : a deep stab wound, 10 - 15 cm pale, slightly raised scar running diagonally. one of the scars she tries to hide away since it's the most prominent. brooke struggle with tightness or soreness durring intense exercise.
upper right shoulder, hands & outer left arm : defensive wounds from fighting off an attack with a knife. noticable up close, but not immediately obvious.
@halztead. starter call.
if growing up in lakewood taught her anything, it's to not trust anyone. she trusted emma. she trusted noah. and that's it. started college, and it was supposed to be this great experience. it was supposed to be fun. she was supposed to go to all these parties, study, make new friends, it was supposed to be the start of the rest of her life. instead it just felt like the nightmare continued. followed her from lakewood to chicago like a curse. not that she believed in that stuff, but if there was ever a time to become a believer, it was now. there's a masked killer loose on campus, and she guess because of her history . . . if they weren't completely braindead, she was a good place to start as any other. not that she knew anything. hopefully, this creep steared clear of her. still, her nails were already suffering getting picked on and she was constantly looking over her shoulder. expecting someone to come after her with a knife and that ugly ghost mask. " like i told your partner out there, i don't know anything. " narrow shoulder lift, slight roll of eyes follow. " just because we had the same pest back home, doesn't mean i'm any sort of expert. "
