“Someone you knew? Mind if I ask his name?” She looked vaguely familiar but he couldn’t place the name.
Lana hesitated a moment, playing nervously with the ends of her blonde hair before she gave a small nod. It wasn’t like ‘Steve’ was a rare name after all. It seemed very unlikely that anyone would be expecting, or believing, that she would have known a man who died back in ‘45.
“Given I’ve been unintentionally staring at you, I suppose giving you a name is the least I can do. He was called Steve. We worked together, though I was more of a consultant” she said quietly, offering a small smile.
