lol i’m still trying to decide whether or not brynn and malcolm’s friendship will become something more, but if it does, it won’t happen for a while. their friendship is an important aspect to brynn’s story and after what happens with dylan, she’s gonna be taking a break from romance for a bit...

5. is your oc imaginative or more down-to-earth? down-to-earth. all the loss she’s experienced has made her practical and given her a very realistic (and on the hard days pessimistic) view of the world, but she tries to look past it most of the time

10. would your oc be described as “the life of the party”? that’s a hard no. she’s more of a wallflower type during parties, mostly just hanging out with her close friends

15. are they opinionated or more willing to change their minds? she’s opinionated about the important things, but she’s more than willing to debate or “agree to disagree” with people about less passionate topics.

Omg! Brynn and Peter are twins but then after the snap she’s five years older than him! Will this be a difference in their dynamic that they have to deal with?

yeah, it does put some distance between them and it’s definitely something that they’ll have to work through. when peter comes back they’ll be at two very different places in their lives, but at the end of the day they’re still twins and the five year age difference didn’t diminish that connection or their love for each other

Jackie inhaled slowly as she led Steve toward the work out room in the avengers compound. She could just tell that this was going to end wrong. When Brynn had come to her and suggested her plan, Jackie wanted to tell her it wasn’t going to work, but the look on the girl’s face stopped her. The teen fully believed that she had finally found a way to catch their resident super soldier and Jackie’s husband, Steve Rogers, off guard.

“How long is this gonna take?” Steve asked from behind her.

Jackie shrugged, keeping her eyes on the room at the end of the hall. She was sure that if she showed Steve her face, he would know she was lying. “Nat said she just needed to show you something really quick.”

She let out a sigh of relief when he seemed to accept her answer. She continued to the room and walked through the door, Steve following a second later. Jackie turned around just in time to see Brynn jump off a small pile of weight bags she’d leaned against the back wall. 

She didn’t know how, but Steve must’ve seen her coming because at the last second he stepped out of her way. Brynn landed rather gracefully on two feet, but the momentum from her lunge sent her stumbling forward toward a weight set. Steve’s hand shot out and caught her, steadying her as a smile appeared on his lips.

Brynn spun to face him. “How-”

“I’m a trained super soldier, kid,” Steve said, folding his arms over his chest. “You’re gonna have to do better than that.”

Jackie laughed as Brynn faced her. “Why did you think that was a good idea?”

“I’m eighteen and i don’t think things through,” Brynn reminded her.

“Right,” Jackie said. Both her and Steve smirked as they met each other’s gaze. It was good to see Brynn relax after everything that had happened the previous year. She was still a kid and deserved to enjoy her childhood while it lasted.

Brynn spun on her heels to face Steve. She pointed at him and narrowed her eyes. “I’m gonna get you. One day, it’ll happen. Just wait and see.”

“Can’t wait,” Steve said. He took Jackie’s hand and they started out of the work out room together. Brynn jogged to catch up with them a few seconds later.

“I’m guessing you guys wouldn’t consider giving me the key to your room, would you?”

“No..” Jackie laughed, shaking her head. “Nice try, though.”

Brynn ducked under their clasped hands and started walking backwards down the hall. She shrugged. “A girl can dream.”

With that, she turned and skipped to where the hall split in two directions. When she chose to go left, Jackie knew that she was most likely going to see Bruce in his lab.

“How much you want to bet she’s gonna end up bringing every avenger in on this?” Jackie asked as Steve wrapped an arm around her. He sighed.

“Lord help us.”
