In early 2004, Against me! toured the US with Lucero and The Grabass Charlestons. I brought along my crappy, old and outdated Hi-8 Sony Handycam. Since I was usually behind the lens of a 35mm camera, and I’d always loved all kinds of visual arts, I was excited to do a little filming on tour. I shot this particular night in Memphis, Lucero’s hometown, and then a show at Gilman St. in Berkeley, CA. At the time, this cut from “As the Eternal Cowboy” was my favorite AM! song.
