a speculative look into akutagawa's head during his first mission with atsushi, as shin soukoku.

It takes a while for Akutagawa to acquaint himself with the rhythm of partnership. He watches Atsushi dart across walls, propel himself away from stray rocks with razor sharp reflex, turning to shoot him split-second gazes mid-air– cover me – and it’s only then that he understands.

Akutagawa may be their pulse, but Atsushi is their blood.

It’s a little like re-learning the use of his own body – back when he knew nothing about Rashoumon, its limitations, and what it could do. Atsushi moves too fast for him to even think; he usually only has less than a second of lead time to cover Atsushi from Goncharov’s boulders while he’s vulnerable in the air. It takes a riot of missteps – muttered curses and bruises down to their spines, but slowly, they test their capabilities and limitations as a team.

The Bungou Stray Dogs Library is looking for fic submissions!

The BSD Library will be opening this Friday, March 31st! Before the library launches we are looking for fan fiction submissions. Whether it’s fluff, angst, or smut; a character study or a ship piece; written by you or one of your favorite fics - we want to know about it!

Guidelines: The fic must be -

Accessible through Tumblr or Archive of Our Own

Written in English (more languages will be accepted soon!)

A oneshot, completed, or have been updated within the last three (3) months.

Premeditated Murder

Facing the ugly truth on his financial problems, Kunikida Doppo, the math teacher diagnosed with lung cancer, had to move to the new job his sister, Higuchi got for him on a fancy castle university ~

It was time for his luck to change...but not that much to actual befriend a too cheerful student ghost that hides a brutal death which happened between those walls.

Will Kunikida let this lost soul guide him to light or will he prefer to stay comfy in his seat with the money that could save his life?

Introducing The Bungou Stray Dogs Library:

A comprehensive archive of Bungou Stray Dogs fanfiction. Our goal is to compile fanfiction from Tumblr and from Archive of Our Own into one easy access site for you to search through.  The BSD Library will incorporate all ship pairings with the exception of S*ukoku. For S*ukoku fics please visit our sister site (x).

The Library Will Offer:

An archive of fics, all pre-screened for readability by our librarians, for readers to shift through.

A continually updated, easy-to-filter, masterlist of all fics within our archive.

An author’s list including all BSD fic writers within our archive. 

The Help Desk - for readers who are searching for a specific fic that they have lost track of. Send us an ask with the fic’s components and the librarians will hunt it down for you.

As the library expands, we will also begin to provide New in Circulation (a weekly update of new BSD fics), Ship of the Month (one BSD pairing will be featured each month), and Librarian’s Picks (a monthly updated list of the librarian’s favorite pieces). 

Have a fic to recommend?

We are currently accepting fic submissions. Currently the BSD Library only accepts fics written in English. In order for a fic to be archived it must either be oneshots/completed OR it should have more than one chapter and have been updated within the last three (3) months. Submit us fanfiction here

Interested in joining the team?

We are looking for friendly and active bloggers to join the BSD Library. Familiarity with Bungou Stray Dogs is required. Mods should be able to keep up-to-date with recent BSD fics on tumblr and on AO3 and promote a drama-free environment. Antagonizing BSD ships/shippers is not tolerated.

If accepted, applicants will hear back on the status of their application within two (2) weeks. Apply to join the team here. Librarians will be immediately invited to join the Library’s Discord Server.

What came with the wind? Well...In the middle of the desert there is a town living in a peaceful way, not even the wind dare to steal the dust from sheriff Ranpo's shoes. All this peace to be broken by two corrupted thieves that want to rob the bank. Will they succeed when the bank is in the dependable hands of Ango Sakaguchi and Kunikida Doppo? Is there a hidden agenda? Are their intention just that simple? We'll see that cowboy ~
