Man with violin.
I can’t help it. There’s some I just like looking at over and over ...
Chapter 4 is up. I'm beginning to think this will need 6 total. In this chapter we ask the question: what do you do if Benedict flings himself full length on you in the dark?
Oh my.

--------------
Okay, I just posted the second chapter of the new story. I think it will go 5 chapters like the last one. I'll post when it's actually finished, things are moving more slowly now that I spend the day with a baby in my lap!
A lot of things happened in my life in 2014. Pretty significant things. I don't usually talk about my work here. I write. This year I spent the entire year writing a film script called Prey Species. Here's a logline:
GENRE: Drama/Police Procedural with a touch of Sci-Fi-Urban Fantasy The scientist leader of a hidden community of human predators teams with a brilliant homicide detective and a computer program named MILO to find a serial-killing fundamentalist who wants to destroy him.
You can read the script here.
The "poster" represents my dream casting. It's always easier for me if I populate my work in my imagination with real people. The script, itself, went through over 100 rewrites. I'd like to thank pulpbomb for her invaluable insights. I'd also like to acknowledge luv-assangiebatch for her boundless enthusiasm for a character, performance and film. It's inspiring to know how much people can be touched by film.
And I also want to thank every beautiful person who follows this blog. Writing is a thing done alone and sometimes you can feel very alone, indeed. But here I feel like we're all part of something great, of history in the making. And we're all suffering from the same malady, Cumberitis: infected by wonder at the extraordinary talent and character of one goofy guy.
I told myself I would finish by year's end. I did. Thanks for the inspiration.
