since this is a day of giving thanks...
Today, I'm thankful for the usual things. My family, my health, my life. But I also want to talk about something a little special.
Today, I'm thankful for two girls I met on a funny little green rock last winter. Two girls who linked arms with me and set off on a wild adventure, who drank me under the table and occasionally delivered ibuprofen to my bedroom window the next day, who spent countless hours of countless nights watching tv online and eating bad Chinese takeout with me. I'm thankful for the girls who I don't even remember becoming friends with, because some things are just natural and right and yes and always.
Tonight, I'm really really thankful for the continued existence of Julia and Bridget.
