Bubotuber: Bubotuber is a magical plant that is native to Scotland, specifically the Forbidden Forrest located at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This plant has green leaves and closely resembles that of an oversized, dense, black slug. Bubotuber’s are cloaked with gleaming protrusions which when squeezed generates a thick yellowish-green fluid that has a similar redolence to that of gas. This plant can be found in the Hogwarts greenhouses and its pus is used in multiple different potions which include, the Healing Potion, and Fake protection potions. In 1994, Bubotuber’s were discussed in Herbology class, with individual attention given to the removal of Bubotuber pus. Additionally, this plant is mentioned in the book, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi.
