Had a sudden urge to draw Guy in one of those turtleneck bodysuit things and I ended up with a homoerotic pre sparring scene
Some day I'll be able to work on the pokemon fics I want to write (I'm being held up b/c I want to have a shiny charizard for my story playthrough and I've yet to hatch a fucking shiny), but I have had the idea for one of them that Guzma would probably vibe with Ted Kord/Blue Beetle 2 under certain circumstances due to most likely rocking with Ted's bug-themed everything with his superheroing.
And also fuck the police vibes.

So, the new Blue Beetle series has finally reached its final issue...
On one hand I'm glad for the character to have been freed of Tony Bedard, but on the other hand I only pulled this book because I hoped it would run long enough for a switch in creative teams.
The worst part about this isn't the cancellation, but that it never had a fair chance. I'm not saying that Bedard is a bad writer, I haven't read any of his work besides Blue Beetle, but it's painfully obvious that he either doesn't get or doesn't care about any of the characters.
