So this was pointed out to me the other day.

It was pointed out to me the other day that I don't look someone in the eye when I talk to them, like at all.

And I had no idea. I'm just so use to keeping my eyes down on the floor or off on some wall.

And he asked me why I did that, and for the life of me, I couldn't think of a real answer until he made me look at him.

Staring someone in the eye is almost too intimate for me. It's like they can see right through me to all the horrible cracks and bruises my heart has. And it's not like I don't try... Like, I'll look at his face but the second his own eyes swing my way I find myself looking away.

I ended up telling him the last person that I was able to have conversations with and able to look into their eyes the entire time broke my heart.

He just shook his head, smiled, and was like said something along the lines of my eyes were too pretty to be downcast all the time.

Guys. Wtf.

Why does he have to be in Buffalo and not Rochester?

He also pointed out that I'm shy and not very talkative. Which I responded with a "really?" haha I SUCK at starting conversations unless there is something I want to know, which I said to him, and then he asked a question and we ended up having like, a 6 hour long conversation that lead us to getting like no sleep... haha

yeah I'll work on that whole eye contact thing.
