um my brother making me watch Cube (dir. Vincenzo Natali) like “it’s metaphorical it’s philosophical” [90 minutes of poorly executed fake deep nonsense that doesn’t hold up if you think about it more than 2 seconds]

10. are you good at hiding your feelings? i want to say yes, but honestly i have no idea. i used to feel like i was making my feelings very very plain to others and they wouldn’t appear to notice. they may have noticed, though. maybe i didn’t notice them noticing. we don’t know what we don’t know! so in conclusion: no clue.

15. personality description: uuuh i think i’m smart. i think im empathetic. i think im funny. im prone to melancholy. there’s a 95% chance im deeply scared about something at any given moment. i love words but i have very little faith in them. im stubborn. i hate being wrong, which means im often worried that i am. i can be very patient and incredibly impatient. i think a lot about nuance and extremes and how difficult it is to accept the existence of two opposite truths at the same time, and how this seems to account for much of the world’s problems. and also for none of them.

20. what is your favourite song at the moment? i dont think i have one at the moment. “landslide” by fleetwood mac maybe bc im learning that on the piano

25. role model: my parents. they’re extremely positive and generous people without expecting anything in return except maybe thanks. they’ve always given me unconditional love. they’re not perfect at all, but who is? i’m so grateful that they’re the ones who raised me.

30. favourite tv show(s): i have a lot of favorite tv shows, and then there’s always sunny, less of a favorite and more of a way of being

35. favourite subject: i assume this question is more for school-age ppl, so when i was in high school my favorite subject was called arts & humanities which was basically literature and history and art all rolled into one 2-hour class. (i went to a hippie school lol.)

40. favourite memory: hmmm this is always a hard question for me since i feel like a favorite memory should have some kind of lasting and profound significance, like it should involve someone you’re still close with. a lot of things that i felt like were favorite memories at the time have become tainted in some way, or they’re a good memory now but at the time the moment felt not great. but the memory that always pops into my head was this time in 8th grade, it was may, the lilacs were blooming, and i was in a school production of our town. that night was our opening night so i guess it was friday, and me and my friend ransom (actually his name) went to hang out on these nearby soccer fields in between school and call time. it was a beautiful afternoon and we just laid around watching clouds roll by and we were in that mood where everything is funny and you can’t stop laughing for the life of you. i don’t remember what we were laughing about, and i’ve long since lost touch with ransom, and i don’t know if it is actually my favorite memory but that’s always the first thing that comes to my mind when someone asks what my favorite memory is. 

45. how you found out about your idol: i don’t think i have an idol, unfortunately. :/ i don’t trust like that. i do respect dolly parton though.

55. tumblr friends: i don’t know what this is asking? haha i mean. yes i have friends on tumblr...mutuals anyway. the only FRIEND friend ive made here (as in we talk a lot outside of tubmlr) is @brownwithafrown who is really fuckin cool. if anyone else wants to be my friend im here...nervous and a little afraid of intimacy and vulnerability but here...lmao

well….i wonder if frank is actually…not? banging it?? like i feel like that would be the thing thats too obvious. however, i could be wrong, frank is an odd one and perhaps its a dual purpose melon. i think there is something inside it for sure, what is in it besides fruit? I’m drawing a blank. i have so many thoughts tho like, is that just something he always keeps in a safe, does he go out and get a new melon when the last one starts to rot, what does he do with the old ones, why is it a casaba melon to begin with, is there some sort of symbolism there, if the grocery stores are out or its out of season does he use a different type of melon, is this a one time thing?? whatever is possibly inside would get sticky and gross but then again its not hollow inside so maybe it truly is just a thing to fuck!! honeydew melons are the worst fruit so its no good for eating imo regardless. I’m very intrigued by the mystery of the melon
