Late Night Reads with the Reid

a/n: this was so fun to right, I hope you enjoy reading it.

It was a long day for both you and Spencer. Spencer had just come back from a week long case, across the country. So when he sent you the message that he was on his way home, and was going to be back later that night, you couldn't wait for him to be in the same bed. Sure you guys called every night and made sure at least one of you guys went to bed. It would never be the same of him sleeping next to you.

When you finally got home that night. After working a double shift and closing, you weren't surprised to hear the water running upstairs. You made your way up to the bedroom, after locking the door. You changed into one of Spencer's old college shirts and a pair of shorts. Then you finally got to climb into your cozy bed after a super long and stressful day. You were dozing off when you heard the water turn off.

You sat up and waited for him to come into the room. You saw him finally walked in with a towel wrapped around his neck.

"It's nice to finally be able to take a shower with actually good water pressure", he stated as he walked to the laundry hamper. (is that the right word?)

"I bet, but how was the case?", you asked laying down, as he laid down.

"It was okay, wish it wasn't as long as it was. Wanted to be in bed with you, not alone for a week."

You cuddled up close to him, "I know, but hey you helped the families of the victims put their minds to ease when they saw you guys caught the unsub"

He just hummed, "I just missed our late night reads. You know what we call Reads with the Reids."

You laughed, "You mean what you call it, I'm not calling that till you put a ring on this finger.", you waved your ring finger in his face.

You watched as he sat up and started to look for his book, "here it is haven't read this in a while."

He started to read but you couldn't stay a wake for long. You looked up at Spencer, not really paying attention. The last thing you remember, was feeling Spencer pull you close and kiss your head.

Haven't posted my own art in a while but for the past month I have been busy with a South Park interest that was a hiperfixation for a bit, I love Marjorine so much..trans characters..I sigh..Maybe I should combine in a drawing my love for both Bug and Marjorine the trans ever
