to be honest I really liked the episode and, for me, it was a MASSIVE POSITIVE one for bughead:

- jughead being mature and admitting that he didn’t recover from the break-up (and that he isn’t in a good place to start something with someone)

- his hallucination with betty (just compare it with the one he had with jessica.... the meaning, the depth! finally reaching what’s bothering him for years)

...and the make-out please this one speaks for itself

Fred’s Ladder

“Seriously though, nobody has a better first kiss story then Bughead” Kevin said confidently, dismissing Cheryl and Toni’s protests with a wave of his hand.

“He’s right” Veronica agreed, taking a sip of champagne before asking “I mean who actually climbs up a ladder before even dating?” 

“I still don’t know where he even got the ladder” Betty admitted with a wistful smile.

“It wasn’t um... yours?” Toni asked, delicately skipping over which member of the Cooper household would likely have one. 

Before Betty answered, Jughead wandered out from his office, kissing her head and simply saying “I miss Fred”

Here’s something I want to change

I know that this is a difficult time for all of us, as fans of Cole and Lili, Riverdale, Betty and Jughead, and as ordinary people with our own personal lives, routines, and relationships. I try to be positive every day, no matter what happens, thank you to all of you who also remain so and together we will bear everything, I am sure. That's why I decided that in order to somehow brighten up this time constantly being on self-isolation, or even without it, in all this is a stressful situation, that I shall start counting down to the best days for our fandom and for us in general. I want to start the carousel of positive, sweet, precious moments again next week with our favorite actors, namely Cole and Lili, no matter what it's about, it should only be positive. So doing this I feel that it will be easier to carry all this accumulated negativity and garbage, turning it into the best. We dare not only keep ourselves upbeat, but also support our faves. At least I think it will help me, because I do not want to give up in any case and so will be distracted, creating this small bubble of memories and flashbacks. All those who want to join in, please, you are welcome, and if it's necessary, we can create a joint special tag.

I finally watched the RD finale (4x19) because I couldn’t help it when there’s so much Bughead in it lol

While I still don’t like what they did to Betty’s character (and Bughead) it’s pretty clear to me that I can’t not love Bughead.

And honestly, that episodes was not bad (for RD ;)).

So I’m trying to stay positive during hiatus because it’ll all blow up anyway when season 5 starts and everything comes out. What’s the point in being negative when you can try to pretend season 4 only had 17 episodes, right?

Don’t get me wrong, I really have my issues with this show. Always have. Like, I sometimes can’t believe what I’ve been willing to condone as long as Betty and Jughead have been fine. And they almost ruined it for me (that writers room is full of jerks, tbh). But I’m not totally done with it (yet) because of that last episode and still being curious about what’s gonna happen and how it’s gonna happen. I kinda wanna see them grown up in college. Not sure yet how my sentiment will be when season 5 airs though. I’ll see.

Hi, can i suggest one activity for all bughead fans that will 100% make your day sooo much better: going back and watching people on yt (adam obviously but also some other people) reacting to all of the iconic bughead moments. It truly feels like you are reliving them and reminding you how special they are. I was literally crying happy tears yesterday while watching people react to seventeen. Have a lovely day.
