For @onenicebugperday because tumblr submissions are being ridiculous for me specifically.
Most of these are taken in or around Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in California, where my fiance and I went specifically to find banana slugs! I don't know which variety of banana slug these are, but I also don't know how hard it would be to ID down to specific species. I believe the silkmoth is a ceanothus silkmoth, the other moth I think a geometer, maybe pero genus? Again, I don't know how hard it would be to ID down further than that.
The bee is from a bit further south at Descanso Gardens in southern California - a yellow faced bumblebee, I think? And the last friend is a lovegrub :) He came with us on all our adventures, a worldly fellow who hails from Lairbrew. He obtained a banana slug friend while we were at the park.
