Business Storytelling And Brand Development Course
When I began this course, I didn’t think that I would take much away from it besides information that I’ve already learned. Turns out that this course was more informative than I could have imagined. The difference between building a brand and a business, the importance of the image of the brand, and even the best way to create and build your brand were all things that this course taught me. As most people would assume, building and maintaining a following, brand, or company requires networking and utilizing all the outlets available to you to get the word out. This is true, but there are a lot of other variables that we fail to take into consideration. One of the biggest, in my opinion, is the fact that we aren’t marketing and promoting these things and ideas to ourselves. If our brand doesn’t connect with consumers, isn’t engaging to them, or doesn’t stand out then we are probably wasting our time. But, if our brand is eye catching, stimulating, and engages the consumer to learn more, we have less work to do. This course will show you that the way you go about building your brand, and creating a brand that is going to be received by the people well, is key to your brand’s success. Poor branding can result in you putting in more time revisiting the drawing board, and trying to put life into a dead idea. I’ve already incorporated a lot of the knowledge I’ve gained throughout this course into my everyday work. I now think from the perspective of both a creator and consumer when I’m working on material and content regarding my brand. It saves me time from giving people what they aren't looking for, and helps me to devote my time to delivering what they are searching for. Overall, this course has been much more insightful and helpful than I believed it would be, and has helped me in becoming more efficient and effective in my quest to build my brand up to it’s full potential.
