"The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
[al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Narrated Muawiya:
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "A group of people amongst my followers will remain obedient to Allah's orders and they will not be harmed by anyone who will not help them or who will oppose them, till Allah's Order (the Last Day) comes upon them while they are still on the right path."
Sahih al-Bukhari
A woman came to The Prophet, and complained to him about her husband that he invites too many guests and she has become weary from preparing food for them and hosting them. The Prophet did not answer and the woman left.
Sometime later The Prophet called the woman's husband and said, "I am your guest today."
The man was so happy he went home and told his wife "The Prophet of Allah, is our guest today."
His wife was ecstatic and spent time and effort and used every bit of food to prepare for the arrival of the Most Honored Guest, The Prophet.
After the amazing joy of hosting The Prophet, generously, The Prophet, told the man, "Tell your wife to watch the door from which I leave your home."
So the wife watched the door from which The Prophet, left her home and saw all kinds of creatures, scorpions and other harmful creatures leaving the house behind The Prophet, upon which she fainted due to the immense manifestation and greatness of what she had witnessed.
When she came to The Prophet, he said to her, "This is what happens when the guest leaves your home, with him all kinds of harm, trials and tribulations and harmful creatures depart from your home, and that is the wisdom behind being generous to one's guest and becoming weary doing so."
The house in which the guests are frequent and many is a house which Allah loves. There is nothing better than the 'open house' for the young and the old. In such a house descends Allah's Mercy and Blessings from heaven.
The Prophet, said, "If Allah wants good for a people, He sends them a gift." They asked "What kind of gift, oh Prophet of Allah?" He said, "The guest comes with his own provision, and leaves with the sins of the people of the house."
So my beloved, know that the guest is the way to Paradise. The Prophet said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day must be generous with his guest."

Reading the Books of Sayyid Qutb
Do you advise the youth to read Sayyid Quṭb's books, and what is your opinion on Shaykh Rabīʿs books about Sayyid Quṭb, especially since some warn against them? Sayyid Quṭb is considered a literary figure. He lived in disbelief for eleven years, سيد قطب يعتبر أديباً من الأدباء مكث مع الالحاد إحدى عشرة سنة then Allah, the Sublime and Exalted, guided him. He did not sit with al-ʿulamāʾ (ie: the scholars); ولم يجالس العلماء؛ he relied on his own fikr (ie: thoughts). He is considered a literary figure among those whom the verse of Allah, the Almighty, applies: {And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; Do you not see that they roam in every valley and that they say what they do not do? - Except those who believe, do righteous deeds, remember Allah often, and defend themselves after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned} (26:224-227). So I ask the questioner: Have you read the entire “Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr”? ، Have you read the entire “Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī”? ، Have you read the entire “Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim”? ، Have you read the entire “Musnad Aḥmad”? ، Have you read the entire “Sunan Abū Dāwūd”? ، Have you read the entire “Jāmīʿ at-Tirmiḏī”? ، Have you read the entire “Sunan al-Nasāʿī”? ، Or is it (only) after Sayyid Quṭb (that you will read those)? !، Some people have become extremists in takfīr (ie: declaring Muslims as unbelievers) just by reading Sayyid Quṭb's books because of his frequent mention of “al-Ṭaġūt” and “al-Ṭaġūt.” Yes, we say: al-Ṭaġūt; but many times, we do not mean that this (Ṭaġūt) is outside the religion of Islām. Therefore, I do not recommend reading the books of Sayyid Quṭb, فأنا لا أنصح بقراءة كتب سيد قطب، nor the books of Muḥammad al-Ġazzālī, ولا بقراءة كتب محمدٍ الغزالي، nor the books of Muḥammad Quṭb, ولا بقراءة كتب محمد قطب، nor the books of Zaynab al-Ġazzālī. Brothers, read the books of the Sunnah; يا إخواننا اقرؤوا كتب السنة؛ the book “Kitāb al-Tawḥīd” on the names and attributes of Allah by Ibn Khuzaymah, كتاب < التوحيد > في الأسماء والصفات لابن خزيمة، “al-Sunnah” by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim, < السنة > لابن أبي عاصم، “al-Sharīʿah” by al-Ājurrī, < الشريعة > للآجري، “Sharḥ al-Sunnah” by al-Lālikāʿī, < شرح السنة > للالكائي، “al-Sunnah” by Muḥammad b. Naṣr al-Marwazī, < السنة > لمحمد بن نصر المروزي، the book “al-Īmān” by al-Qāsim b. Sallam, كتاب < الإيمان > للقاسم بن سلام، and so on from the kutub ʿulamāʾnā al-mutaqaddimīn (ie: books of our earlier scholars). Allah has preserved His religion: {Indeed, it is We who sent down the ḏikr (the Qurʾān) and indeed, We will be its guardian} (15:9). I do not declare Sayyid Quṭb an unbeliever; ولست أكفر سيد قطب؛ however, I say that his books should not be relied upon, ولكن أقول: إنه لا يعتمد عليه في كتبه، and may Allah reward our brother Rabīʿ b. Hādī, may Allah preserve him, who has advised and clarified the deviations and misguidances in the books of Sayyid Quṭb, and all praise is due to Allah. "If one recites the last two verses of Sūrah al-Baqarah at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night)."

The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, as do the faithful. They all believe in God, His angels, His scriptures, and His messengers. ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers,’ they say, ‘We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You we all return!’

God does not burden any soul with more than it can bear: each gains whatever good it has done, and suffers its bad- ‘Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make mistakes. Lord, do not burden us as You burdened those before us. Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelievers.’
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If Adam's son had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys, for nothing fills his mouth except dust. And Allah forgives him who repents to Him."
Sahih al-Bukhari 6439
It doesn’t matter how much you have, you will never have ‘enough’.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah, the Exalted, says: 'I have no reward other than Jannah for a believing slave of Mine who remains patient for My sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world".
[Al- Bukhari]
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Hour (Last Day) will not be established until (religious) knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious learned men), earthquakes will be very frequent, time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, murders will increase and money will overflow amongst you."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 1036, Book 15, Hadith 31)
